Simple, spacious, and steps to the beach. This 3-bedroom shack in White Sands Estate is perfect if you’re after a coastal base with room for the whole crew. It’s not fancy—but it’s clean, comfy, and in a great location. Two double rooms plus bunks. Just note: there’s no Wi-Fi in the house, and tap water must be boiled before drinking. Bring bottled water if you prefer.



The Space

This isn’t a luxury stay—but it’s honest, easy, and right by the sea. You’ll have two double bedrooms plus a third room with two sets of single bunks, perfect for kids or groups. The house is older and the fit-out is simple, but there’s plenty of space to spread out and relax.



The living area flows into a practical kitchen with everything you need to cook at home. Outside, the deck is a good spot for a casual meal or drying your beach gear.



Please note: there’s no Wi-Fi in the house (only at reception), and the tap water isn’t drinkable unless boiled. Bring bottled water for ease.

Nearby towns, Scamander and St Helens offer essentials, great coffee and local flavour. Whether you're here to fish, surf, or do absolutely nothing—this part of Tassie delivers.



Getting Around

You’ll need a car as there’s no public transport, and things are a fair distance apart. Free parking is available at the house. Once you’re here, it’s an easy walk to the beach and brewery, but best to drive for groceries and day trips options are limited in the area.



Other things to note:

- A $50 fee will be charged if guests fail to check out by the agreed time, with an additional charge for every 15 minutes thereafter.
