Valentines Weekend

When we got to the house; the key would not work. We called the # we were given & were told it was a text only #. We finally reached housekeeping & they came and opened the door and gave us their key. We never got the TV to work with the instructions that were left. Loved the house itself, but there were several inconveniences.

Reminds me of grandparents house

The house was in a good location just a few blocks from Main Street. The neighborhood was older, but well kept. The house was small but cute, and has probably not been updated since it was built in the 50’s. The furnishings matched the house decor. It reminded me of my grandparents house growing up. The owners had everything well stocked, and even left pastries, juice, milk and cereal for breakfast. I would stay there again if it was only me and my wife. Anymore than that might be an issue with just 1 bathroom.

Adorably Vintage and Welcoming

My adult daughters and I had a great stay in Das Mueller Haus. We loved the decor. It was in a quiet neighborhood. Check in and check out was so simple and appreciated. We look forward to returning soon.

This is a cute grandma’s cottage. It was a bit older but clean. The location could not be better. It was an easy walk to down town. Check-in and check-out was easy.

Great Place to stay. Close to everything. Had some issues with love bugs in the back bedroom. They were coming in through the window. Need to get an exterminator. Overall stay was nice.

Nice place to stay but had some issues

This is a nice little home but too many things show there age. First the good….. Great check in and people in the office. Super nice and helpful. Very responsive. The house was cleaned well and pretty well stocked. Some nice special touches like some fresh pastries, milk and juice and a nice set of China to use. Beds are comfortable, furniture is old, eclectic but serviceable. Now for the negatives. This place is old and has not been renovated as they claim. Chairs in the dining room are coming apart, the tub looks terrible. It is old and looks dirty. There are black marks on the tile in the grout and caulking, cobwebs galore between the windows so you really cannot enjoy the views if you want, the flooring in the kitchen and bath are close to 40 years old and show their age. The blinds are about the same age and are yellowed. They look dirty and that’s the first impression you get when you see them. Bedroom door very hard to open and bathroom door does not lock. There are other things but by now you get the idea. Basically was told the owner does not want to spend any money here and it shows. With a small investment this could be a great place especially with the management company running it. They really were very pleasant to deal with even when I expressed these issues. I am not a complainer and if I’m not mistaken this is the first time I’ve ever written any type of negative review. One of the main reasons I’m doing this is because in the description they use the word renovated. That is a falsehood. I hope is to make people aware of what this will really be like and have it advertised properly. Can not force anyone to do any repairs.

Wonderful property

This is a charming older house that perfectly suited our needs for a girls weekend with my friend and my daughter. The welcoming breakfast of milk, juice, and pastries was perfect. The beds were some of the most comfortable that we have stayed in. Check in and out was very easy with friendly, helpful staff. We had a very enjoyable experience!

Cozy home

Nice, cozy place. We had trouble getting the shower to work, but otherwise, fine. It was a little off-putting to get what felt like a list of chores we had to do before leaving, especially after being there for a short weekend. We felt like we had to take time out of our relaxation to make sure we had completed all chores listed or face additional fees, which was a little stressful.

Sweet stay

The house was very clean when we arrived and easy to find. The beds were really comfortable and the AC temp was set at the perfect temp. We appreciated the orange juice and milk. Someone in my party placed a bag on top of the welcome book when we arrived and I never got to see the instructions for working the shower until the last day when we were packing everything up to leave

A cute, old-fashioned house within walking distance of Main Street (though a bit of a hike from the far end) with plenty of bedrooms. Quiet neighborhood meant we slept like babies!
