Loved this little cottage

Housekeeping

Both nights that we stayed, we were welcomed with ants that were either dead and or alive. We did our best to remove them from the bed. While sleeping I was bit not once but twice. I did inform the management company and they were graciously giving on changing all the linens. As we were out and about we had our guest pop up again. We had sleepless nights not knowing if we were going to get bitten again and have them crawl on us while we were sleeping.

Great Place

The backyard guesthouse is in a great location and well put together! We walked to Main Street easily. Several restaurants and the WWII museum are a block away. The guesthouse is very well decorated, with lots of thought out into it. We’ll be back!

Quaint space for 2 close to Main St

Good location as it was walking distance to Main St. near the stores. Neat little 1 bed 1 bathroom place for a quick getaway. Worked well for us but we don’t need extravagant accommodations. Only issues seen: on arrival it was pretty warm outside. The AC was turned completely off and it was 81 in the room. Had we wanted to rest before heading to Main St., it would have been miserable waiting for it to cool off. Then the note about turning it “on” and being responsible. Kinda confusing. Also no breakfast vouchers as stated online. Good thing we brought some stuff. We didn’t mind the washing of dishes but having to use the bathroom sink was different. Haha.

Just as described

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The property was exactly as described and walking distance to Main St which is absolutely perfect! Beautiful decor, nice and cozy.We got rained in on our first day and the property manager was accommodating and let us check in a tad earlier.

My daughter and I absolutely adored the property. The vibe was exactly what we were looking for, to include, the close proximity of Main Street. We appreciate the hospitality and although the main house was literally steps away, we felt completely separate and private. Thank you for making our trip complete! Cozy little love shack

Booked for an anniversary getaway with my husband. Very cute, comfortable little apartment. Outstanding location, easy walk to museums and main street. Close enough and roomy enough to invite friends over for a quick break during the day. Property owner was very responsive and helpful with questions when we checked in. Great place!

Adorable Cottage

This cottage is adorable and so, so comfortable. My husband and I spent 3 nights and could not have been happier. The location is great - very walkable to Main Street and easy to get in and out of town. The street is large and has designated parking for the guest house. Check in/out was very easy and the communication was excellent. The house is well stocked including a few games if you’re staying in for the evening. There is a stove/oven and full fridge. Without a kitchen sink it’s a little challenging if you’re cooking or using the dishes but it was equipped with plenty of plastic cups and to-go coffee cups. We did not use the kitchen other than for coffee/tea but all seemed to be in working order. We would absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend it to others.

Cute property, but AC was wonky

There was a note on the AC to not turn below 72. My wife and I like it a bit cooler - so since we followed the instructions meant we sweated for a couple nights. We will not rent this place again. If they can fix the AC so it adjusts with the guests preferences, then this would be a winner.

Mother/daughter Getaway

My mom and I stayed here for a long weekend and had a wonderful time. Within walking distance to restaurants and Main Street, we were able to do everything we wanted to do easily. Definitely looking forward to another stay at Gastehaus 402!
