Girl Trip

My daughter, a family friend and I stayed in this lovely home and absolutely loved our time there. The home is beautiful, clean, has great amenities, a lovely view from the balcony and the property manager, Morgan was quick to answer any questions we had! We had a fun time on the golf cart, driving around and looking at the beautiful homes in the neighborhood. We would absolutely book this property again!

Fantastic Once Again!

We were there in early October and enjoyed the quiet beach. We were up before sunrise to make the very short walk to the beach to watch the sun come up. Great place for photographers. The floorplan is thoughtfully laid out, affording space and privacy. Beautiful furnishings. Ww packed light, knowing everything we needed (and more) for the beach was provided by the owners, even down to the beach towels. We hated to leave, so we didn't! We got in touch with the owner and it worked out that we were able to extend our stay. This was our second time to stay at Wasted Time, but it won't be our last!

This is our 3rd time at this property and it never fails. Property is fantastic and being part of the Pointe West neighborhood adds an additional flair. Having the golf cart included on-site is a great added bonus. Morgan is always available and always keeps the lines of communication open. Another great Galveston trip in the books. We ad a blast and I especially liked yew laid back feeling and “help yourself” attitude of the owners! The golf cart for free is the best! The house was clean and probably the most well stocked with amenities I have ever seen in a vacation home. Would 100% recommend to anyone. We had a great time at this cottage. It is further from pools and beach club, but with the golf cart, it was more than fine. We had a few storms during our visit but we were able to stay entertained playing pingpong and hanging out on the patio together. We had a lovely time! Thanks!

Good overall!

Great location loved the golf cart so much! The beach was empty and they had everything we needed for ultimate beach and house fun. Kids were in heaven. There were so many massive mosquitos that attacked us every time we were downstairs… my 2 year old is covered in welts! The house also had an odd smell, probably just animals but we don’t have a dog so was not used to it. Probably won’t stay here again because of the bugs but otherwise great spot!

Great stay!

This is a great beach house. The beds were comfortable, furniture was comfortable! The kitchen has just about every gadget you could need for basic cooking. There were plenty of kid friendly plates, cups, cutlery. That was handy! The deck downstairs is just enough! It was so nice to sit and watch the pond! The golf cart was nice to have! There are plenty of beach chairs, pool floats (even a baby float), and beach toys! There is even a wagon, which made going down to the beach a breeze! There were plenty of beach towels in the house. Pack light! There is a nice washer and dryer in the house. The pools and beaches on the property are GREAT! The restaurant had delicious food, but the service was terrible. I will say (which is not a reflection of the home owners) that the mosquitos were next level!! I’ve never seen swarms of mosquitos so huge before!! Bring bug spray! Awesome place!! We will absolutely stay again!

We (two teenage daughters) came for our spring break. The overall place was perfect for the 4 of us. We loved the resort amenities and being able to use the pools and the on-site restaurant. The location is a good 20 mins from the main drag of Galveston - we liked that is was a bit quieter and we could choose to go to the more active area of town. Highly recommend!

Perfect Getaway for Thanksgiving

The house was just right for Nanna, Mama, toddler and dog. Nice neighbors. Easy walk to the beach. Great space and layout. Lots of thoughtful touches throughout.
