Room and bathroom were large butcould not adjust the thermostat in the room. Could have been operator error. Street outside hotel was busy but so was all of Galway. Had good experiences in the hotel pub and restaurant.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and kind and considerate. We spent a fair amount of time, enjoying meals and beverages at the restaurant, which was fantastic. What would’ve improved our stay was a matter of temperature and comfort in the actual room. It was hot. Perhaps having a fan or should the hotel install a split unit air conditioner to make for a more comfortable night sleep. The outside area was noisy, and therefore leaving the window open impacted ability for a good night sleep. How compliments to the staff for their thoughtfulness and kindness.

The Huntsman Inn was an incredibly nice place to stay. The room was large, clean and welcoming with many amenities (irn and ironing board, coffee machine, tea kettle...). The food was amazing and the staff were very helpful.

The Warmest Welcome to Galway

The staff at The Huntsman provided a level of hospitality I haven’t experienced in years. Ian, in particular, was so kind and accommodating. The food at the inn was top notch, and our room was luxuriously spacious. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Was a lovely stay! Only a few small things, no USB ports, for charging! Unable to change the temperature in the room, but the bonus was there was a portable fan for use! Room was clean and spacious. We did eat on site and the food was terrific, very busy spot but we luckily got a table.

Nice place, staff was nice. It was very hot with no AC, we opened the window however there is a large bright light in the parking lot and if you shut the blind it blocks the only air possible to cool down the room. It’s probably fun e in the colder weather.

Quant place in Galway

So this is a boutique hotel so be aware that service will be a little different. Overall our experience was good. We were awakened on our last night at 11:30 pm with loud banging doors from the room next door which lasted for 30 minutes. We contacted the manager (no one at the front desk so we had to go to the attached bar) but the banging didn't stop for another 20 minutes. Otherwise the room was clean and comfortable. A fan was provided as there was no air conditioning. The fan di it's job and we were comfortable sleeping. The bed was comfortable and the coffee and tea were replaced daily. The coffee pot was dirty on the outside but cleqaned up easily. The attached restaurant had really good food and is accessible from the rooms.

The property was beautiful and so was our room. However the guys that were supposed to be working outside our window for “only more 15 minutes” Showed up the next morning hammered outside our window at 8am and the following morning, causing up to close our blinds and make our room Hot with no breeze. Couldn’t even walk around comfortable to get dressed because of the workers. Garbage drug dumping bottles at 7am also. Just too loud. I will say the food at the restaurant was exceptional

No one was there to check us in and when somebody came they were very rushed. The rooms and hotel in general were not particularly well maintained. Lots of traffic noise from the street.
