This condo is perfect for a family of 4. It’s super close to downtown so you can literally walk everywhere and not pay $20 to park somewhere else!

Needs New Cleaning Crew and Repairs!

Upon entering we questioned when the unit had been cleaned last. Everything from very dirty bath mats, to either blood or sticky red fingertips on doorways, dirt in the bathtubs, refrigerator coated in spilled substances, walls with visible dirt in multiple rooms, and dust hanging from ceiling vents. The A/C was leaking very badly, seeping under the floor. The master bath shower, the water leaked out onto the floor with every use! The microwave, it had tape holding the door on, but the tape was full of what looked like pubic hair! Needless to say, we spent the most time we could OUT of the unit. We did contact via text, the number provided upon arrival about the poor condition and submitted pictures. We were thanked for the notification but that was about it. We also requested some sort of a refund, especially since we couldn't even heat food up due to the hair, but no response. We travel a lot and usually refrain from leaving such negative comments, but this is warranted for sure. The high reviews, those who left them must be used to staying in very poor conditions. We would still appreciate some sort of follow-up about of refund request.

We thoroughly enjoyed Baskins Creek condos in Gatlinburg! The condo was beautiful and very clean in a great location. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location, hated the beds

The unit is exactly as it looks. The entire property is very clean. The security codes for the elevator access helps keep the property very safe & secure. The unit was very clean and well kept. Location was excellent. First time staying at the north end of the strip, loved the short walk to the Donut Friar! Did not cook so can't speak to kitchen amenities or utensils. The only real complaint we had is the master bedroom bed was terrible. We woke up each day with sore necks & backs after tossing and turning all night. Our friends said the queen bed in 2nd bedroom was also terrible. This is the only real thing that would keep us from not returning. *note to owner: the seal at the bottom of the master shower door is not working. Water leaks and floods the bathroom with each shower. We used towels to try and keep it from running over entire bathroom.

Great location

A couple of blocks walk to dining, shopping, and entertaintment. Clean and spacious for our family of 5. Quiet complex. Enjoyed the balcony with seating for 4, end tables, and coffee table. Not a complaint, just a reminder that they provide 1-2 of detergent, mini soaps, toilet paper, paper towel. Remember to pack your own soaps, detergents, trash bags, consumable paper/plastic products, etc. No hair dryer. In unit washer/dryer was useful. Condo does not come with any seasonings or condiments. They did have pod and traditional coffee makers, blender, and toaster, in addition to expected pots/pans/plates/utensils. WiFi, cable, and TV streaming options were provided. Felt safe with a code for the elevator and a second code for the condo door. Staff is at front desk from 9-5. On site parking is included, which is great because you park for free and walk to everything on Parkway.

Gatlinburg get away

The condo is very close to the main parkway-trolley does make a stop by the building. Area was safe and populous for the weekend. The condo was clean, beds were comfortable- plenty of towels and linens as well as kitchen utensils. If you are going to make some meals, bring your own salt and pepper. Very nice overall-would stay again

Great place to stay. Within walking distance of downtown Gatlinburg, clean, quiet, and a great view. When I come back to Gatlinburg I will stay here.

The first thing we noticed upon arrival was the smell. It was awful. Smelled like old bacon grease. The next thing glaring in our face upon walking in was the stains on the carpet. These were not slight stains, but big stains and the carpet was just dirty. We had stayed at this condo complex before and was so pleased, thus why we had elected to stay again. We had heard that Wyndham had taken over the management of these units at the end of our last stay but had no idea what that would mean. We soon found out when we called to complain the next time we stayed and called to complain. The shower in the master bath poured water on the underside out onto the bathroom floor and we found a big bug in the corner of the guest bedroom floor where the carpet had not been vacuumed. We learned the unit was up for sale and the management's explanation to us upon calling and complaining was that they cannot control the owner's decisions to keep the units up or not. Management sent two guys up to spot clean the carpet and to put a seal on the bathroom shower door (which did not stop the leak)_ The spot cleaning was a joke as a guy with a spray bottle came and I wish you could've seen his cloth upon wiping the stain.............IT WAS FILTHY!!......... The overall condition of the unit was run down. We paid a large price per night for the unit and did not expect to get such sub-par treatment from property management. They said they would give us our money back if we decided to go elsewhere...........but there was no where else to go as this was peak season in the mountains and all places were booked. They offered to reimburse our cleaning fee they charged which was minimul. What a joke !! We paid quite a bit per night for this 2 bedroom unit and it was just myself and my husband. I will never stay at this condo complex again nor will I ever stay at any of this particular managed property . The management was very rude and showed such unprofessional-ism. It put a shadow on our entire stay . and it's a shame because the first time we stayed at this particular condo complex was wonderful and the unit was wonderful. We then went online to find that this particular condo had the exact same complaints issued before............ the management either needs to take the unit off the rental market until the issues have been addressed and let the owner of the unit know that the unit will not be rented out until the issues had been addressed -
