Wonderful and Quaint GOTL Cottage- Pet Friendly!

Located directly across the street from Lake Erie, this 450 square foot Cottage was built in the 1940`s and originally stood in the historic Chestnut Grove, one of the area`s first cottage encampments. We believe that the cottage was moved to the current location in the late 1960s when the Lodge was built. Lucky Stone Cottage #2 is the back cottage, located farthest from the road.


Lucky Stone Cottage #2 will comfortably house and sleep 5 guests. Each of the Cottage`s two bedrooms has a full bed with a brand new memory foam mattress, and there is a new pull out full size sofa bed in the living room. We provide bed linens for all three of the beds. The kitchen has a refrigerator, electric stove, microwave, coffee pot and toaster. It is fully appointed with cookware, dishes and silverware, and should provide you with what you need during your stay. We also offer a complimentary coffee and tea set up for you to enjoy during your stay.

Bathroom has a small walk in shower and is supplied with bath linens for five, as well as emergency toiletries. Keyless entry system for flexible self check-in. Cottage is wifi equipped and has a wall mounted flat screen TV for streaming. It has a drying rack for swimsuits and towels, and a basket of colorful beach towels for your use while at the Lake. The cottage is heated and cooled by a mini split to keep you warm on chilly spring or fall evenings and nice and cool during those steamy Lake Erie summers. This cottage is situated on a small courtyard, which has two cottages in total. You will have full shared use of this courtyard, as well as your own outdoor seating, charcoal grill, and a picnic table with an umbrella. The shared courtyard has a fire-pit for our guests to enjoy and we provide the firewood!

Both of our Lucky Stone cottages are PET FRIENDLY and you are welcome to bring your pup with you to the Lake. There will be a $50 pet fee for all pet stays, and you MUST add your pup as a guest so we know that they will be coming!

If you are planning on visiting the Lake with a larger group and would like to book more than one Cottage, please be in touch about renting BOTH of our Lucky Stone Cottages. Our property is located directly across the street from the Lake. This cottage is the back cottage.

Parking for a maximum of two cars is on a pad in front of the Cottage, on gravel. Guests will have the entire cottage to themselves and will share the outdoor space with 1 other cottage. I am offsite but just a phone call away!

Located in the quieter west end of GOTL, between the Lodge and AdventureZone, yet only a half a mile from the excitement of the Strip. Cottage is a 1.25 mile walk or bike ride, or a 5 minute drive from the beauty and relaxation of Breakwater Beach, where you can swim, relax in the sun or paddle board the day away. Property is across the road from the Lake. Parking is limited on the property and in GOTL in general. Golf carts and bicycles are available on the strip to rent and are a great way to get around. Many of the area wineries provide a shuttle, and there is even a golf cart taxi service to shuttle you to and from the Strip!

We ask that you limit yourself to as few vehicles as possible when staying with us, as parking on the property is limited. You will have space for a maximum of two vehicles when staying at the cottage. Additional parking is available nearby on the Strip. Please note: Parking for this Cottage is on a Gravel pad just off Lake Road E, and cars are not permitted on the courtyard for any reason. Golf Carts are permitted on the courtyard and may be charged on outside outlets at the cottages.

Also to consider: the bathroom in this cottage is small and the shower is by necessity a smaller shower. If you feel that a European style 32` round walk-in shower is too small for your needs, this cottage may not work for you. Please see the pictures of the bathroom. The shower size will not be a problem for MOST people, but if you feel it may be for you, please take this information into consideration before booking.
