Hotels claims to be in Hollister but is actually in Gilroy
After I got there they wanted 100.00 cash deposit.
Room smelled and Motel is an old motel and out dated
At the price point I was not expecting much and just needed a place to sleep. The issues I had is that the place is dirty and in relative disrepair. Mini blinds were shredded and let in light, door lock was on its last leg, filthy carpet, ect… Would not recommend until they at least give it a deep clean.
So the people who own it are super nice. However if you book online you are still expected to pay a CASH deposit that i felt bad not having but he said its ok if i brought it later (honestly i still havent cause i know im good about jeeping stuff clean) but was kinda inconvenient that i cant do that with a card. The location is kind of shady and the rooms are key locked door and when i checked the windows in my room they ar3 super old wood fram windows and were UNLOCKED so if you stay there make sure toncheck your locks and windows cause you may firget to lock them. Best thing is they are super close to alot of resteraunts. But the beds are memory foam mattresses. So be mindful of that. For a cheap overnight motel this place definitley works. AC works. Decent size shower. Fridge and small freezer. Cable, and wifi. Curtains are somewhat see through. But i was so far to the back i didnt see am issue there.
The owner of the hotel is a very nice person.
Checks up on you to see if you need anything.
I stayed here for a week due to work. Best price in town.
Thank you.
Do yourself a favor and sleep in your car before you sleep here. Not only was the bathroom so dirty we didn't even use the shower, the DOOR to our room didn't even shut and lock properly!!! As two women travelling together it felt extremely unsafe. All that would be enough but then in the evening the bar across the street played their music SO LOUD that I could hear it past my NOISE CANCELLING HEADPHONES that were blasting rain noises. When I brought this up to the man in the office he literally chuckled about the problem and said "yeah they play it until 1 or 2 in the morning." What!? He acted as if he could not care less. I wouldn't even stay here again if it cost $20. I don't think the positive reviews are genuine. It was ridiculous.
0 is too much for this place. Very rude guy form the front desk. Lier, because promised to refund my reservation and keep my money. Asked $20 that is not explained in the rules. No answer phone calls for resolve issues. I tried to contact several times, Expedia tried too with out success. I want my money back or I will report this place.
Our room had spoiled food from previous guests.
Run down motel in downtown Gilroy. chunk of paint chipped off door. Dark brown crusty carpet. Hooker propositioned me as I entered. Cash deposit required. Overpriced at $70 per night
The property seems to have zero concern about esthetics. Walls are paper thin and the bedding showed little sign of cleanliness. The door to the room could be open with a butter knife offering no sense of a safe sleep. TV was just for show. It turned on but that was it. The bed was about as comfortable as sleeping on the floor. I walked without my shoes on for about 8 steps and the bottom of my feet were turned black. Honestly, they should pay people to spend the night there.
We had booked a room with 2 queen beds. On arriving at the property we were pleasantly surprised that it comprised of two connected rooms each with a queen bed. The young guy at the reception was very amicable and helpful.
The price was right thru Esperian the 1st day. I asked for another day he said $70 plus $20. Deposit.
At 11:00 he starts knocking on the door that the changed the price and deposit. I said no I’ll Ck out. Then he started to say Ck out is at 11:00. I said I know u just told that u changed the price I need time to get my stuff out. He says it’s now 11:10. He started pounding on everyone’s doors. After I saw everyone else getting out at the same time. The train is so loud goes through the room.
