Kaikki makuuhuoneet ovat suuria, yksi parivuode, loput voivat kaikki olla parivuode tai kaksi. 3: lla on oma kylpyhuone, yhdessÀ kylpyhuoneessa yhdessÀ huoneessa on oma suihku. Valtava uima-allas ja puutarha tÀynnÀ paikallista luonnetta. Mutta epÀtavallisesti historiallisen kylÀn sydÀmessÀ, ei reunalla. Vain 2 minuutin kÀvelymatka ruokakauppaan / boulangeriaan, kahvilaan, ravintolaan ja baariin. Perinteinen "pyöreÀ" kylÀ tÀynnÀ loistavaa arkkitehtuuria.

A great location to visit the surrounding area. 40 mins from Gruissan beach, Roqebrun for kayaking and cycling along the canal du midi. The table du casino is great for dinner in the village. Some constructive feedback for the owners - The pool wasn’t as clean as it should be. Where we have stayed before the pool is cleaned/hoovered on a weekly basis, by the end of the week is was rather dirty and needed a proper good clean,Also the bathrooms needed a good deep clean.A lovely house full of character. TrĂšs belle maison ,grande piscine sĂ©curisĂ©e ,par contre pas une maison pour PMR : chambres via escaliers intĂ©rieurs toutes trĂšs agrĂ©ables des toilettes et sdb un peu partout et une magnifique chambre-studio au dernier Ă©tage .une trĂšs vaste piĂšce d’Ali-dalla Ă  manger et une petite terrasse oĂč l’on peut manger le soir . Excellent sĂ©jour .Nous conseillons vivement cette maison pour un sĂ©jour entre amis.Merci Mark pour ce sĂ©jour.

Nous etions 6 couples. Nous avons séjourné 4 jours dans ce superbe lieu. Tout y est... l'espace, le calme, la propreté. Les chambres sont spacieuses. Une magnifique piscine chauffée trÎneau milieu du jardin. L'eau y est cristalline.Nous avons pu visiter de beaux villages alentours et faire de belles balades le long du canal.J'espÚre que nous pourrons y séjourner à nouveau.Je recommande donc vivement cet endroit...

Lovely property - superb pool

Enormous property with beautiful heated private pool and comfortable bedrooms. We couldn’t believe how spacious it was. Lovely peaceful setting just minutes walk from the village cafe, boulangerie and restaurant. Also a short drive to lots of other local attractions. The hosts couldn’t have been more helpful.

A perfect spacious home and great pool

We had a fantastic time! The house is spacious and very well equipped, we enjoyed the BBQ, the pool and having a local baker for morning bread. Highly recommended and we hope to be back!

Haus fĂŒr einen tollen Aufenthalt im Languedoc

Wir waren mit fĂŒnf Personen im Haus. DafĂŒr ist das Haus eigentlich fast zu groß, aber wir haben das großzĂŒgige Raumangebot genossen. So waren wirklich genug RĂŒckzugsrĂ€ume vorhanden. Dem einen Kind war z.B. der riesengroße Raum unter dem Dach zu warm, so konnte es in einen anderen Raum umziehen. Der riesengroße Raum wurde dann von einem anderen Kind belegt. Alles ist weitlĂ€ufig, auch die Treppen in die beiden Obergeschosse. Die Beschreibung passt sehr gut zum Haus. Die Bilder sind sehr aussagekrĂ€ftig und passend. Der Pool ist einfach fantastisch. Geparkt haben wir vor dem Haus. Auch da gab es keine Probleme. Wir legten Wert auf einen Ort, in dem man morgens einfach kurz zum BĂ€cker gehen und wenigstens Baguette oder Ă€hnliches kaufen kann. Das klappt hier im Ort auch am Sonntag. - Eine Bank ist vor Ort, sodass man auch Geld abheben kann. Genauso gibt es sehr gute Restaurants. Wir empfehlen das Haus sehr. Und wenn wir wieder in dieser Gegend Urlaub machen, dann werden wir versuchen, genau dieses Haus wieder zu mieten.

Amazing house, fabulous pool

Beautiful, spacious house with ample accommodation for our party of 9. Lots of original features and a pool to die for, especially in an August heatwave. Great location for exploring the region. The village itself was very quiet (i.e. no bar open for an evening aperitif) but the Wednesday evening 'nocturne' was a blast, and everyone made us feel very welcome.

Beautiful house in charming French village

We had a wonderful stay at Mark's house in Ginestas. The house is beautiful, with original features, very clean and it has a great pool that the whole family enjoyed. Ginestas itself is a lovely, typically French village with a range of facilities and not far from the coast and larger towns. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Fantastic week in the beautiful village of Ginestas. The house was truly amazing. Plenty of space for everyone; more bathrooms than you can ever need; good quality fixtures and fitting; topped off by the private pool.

Lovely house in a charming town

Spacious and charming old town house with lots of big bedrooms and bathrooms -- no cramped little en-suites here! Good pool and areas for al fresco dining and sun-lounging. Altogether well equipped and easy to get on with. Ginestas is a great little town with a bakery, a delightfully eccentric wine bar, wonderful old school cafe-restaurant (Les Trois Cochons) and an absolute gem of a restaurant (Table de Casino) which is a few minutes walk away but is clearly attracting people from much further (drop in and book). We went there three times in two weeks! The little canal-side villages round and about are also worth exploring. Excellent big sandy beach with good swimming just east of Gruissan, with a huge bar (Paparazzo) to retreat to --it's a wide open beach so could get rough in a wind. The lake at Homps is underwhelming. Great canoeing centre at Roquebrun -- they will drive you upstream and leave you to paddle back, which is a perfect way to spend the afternoon with some gorgeous river swimming spots (especially the hamlet of Ceps, where the 5k trip starts). Narbonne has a beautiful historic centre with a magnificent cathedral.

Perfect!

The house provided a perfect base, loads of space, functional facilities and a wonderful outside area with fantastic swimming pool! The village it’s self was an ideal location with a bakery, village shop, bank and eateries, pop up shops and fĂȘte with live music and food stalls. However, the best restaurant we ate at was in the neighbouring village by the Midi canal. Day trips are easy with a car, Carcassonne and Minerva make for great days out and coming back home to MarksPlace put a real smile on all our faces. The property is even more impressive than it appears in the photos. Mark and his house managers are very responsive, friendly and helpful. Thank you for truly unforgettable holiday for all, cherished memories were made and nobody wanted to leave.

Lovely stay!

Great size of property with enough space for everyone. The pool is a great size and a great way to cool down. The area doesnt have much for children but we had two hire cars for 8 of us and everywhere was driveable. Lovely day trip to Carcassonne, Peyrepeteuse Castle, Aquajet water park and loads more. Enjoy your stay :)

Where to begin! The timeless rustic elegance of the house was immediately evident to us on opening the beautiful wooden front door for the first time. We were thrilled to investigate the whole house and allocate rooms for ourselves and our guests. The house is exceptionally spacious and the bedrooms are extremely large with comfortable beds. The outdoor space is light, private, and spacious. The pool was gorgeous and the landscaping is well thought out. The House was clean (Thank you Hazel) and overall in excellent condition. The kitchen was well equipped. It had everything we needed over the fortnight except for a lemon squeezer which is of no consequence. The Boulangerie was a huge hit and frequented by us everyday. La table du Casino was a great find. Full of life and great food. We also enjoyed dining at L’Oncle Jules. I would also highly recommend La Grillade du Chateau in nearby Ventenac sur Minervois. Truly splendid and the least expensive of the three mentioned! In conclusion – the house is full of character and charm, we all fell in love with it resulting in a truly memorable holiday. I can honestly say the house exceeded on all counts and I would like to thank you Mark for giving it life again.
