Salishan Coastal Lodge offers 205 accommodations, which are accessible via exterior corridors and feature fireplaces and a safe. Rooms open to balconies or patios. Staff were friendly. Everything else was a letdown. Biggest disappointment was the $90 charge per person, per day, in addition to the $35 per day resort fee, to sit in the hot tub they have pictured on their website. Second biggest disappointment was that the only option for breakfast and lunch is a coffee shop. Third biggest disappointment was the dated and worn out furnishings in the room. Fourth was the lack of a view from our room. It was basically of the highway. I really wanted to like this place, but until big changes are made, I won't be coming back.

Our 2nd visit to Salishan Resort. Did not disappoint. Catered to our every need. Spacious comfortable rooms. Five Star Hospitality - Delicious savory dishes. Plenty of activities from Scottish Style links to an aerial park, pool & tennis. Highly recommended for couples and families.

Room was spacious. Great fireplace. View of the estuary nice. In room coffee is just sad - best case you get brown water with no flavor. Worst case burnt fingers and a big mess (come on you can do better!) ocean is about .5 miles away (any water view is the bay). Would not recommend either of the restaurants - pricey and poor service. Spa is across the street and very luxurious.

The facilities were lovely as we're the grounds. The restaurant management needs to address the lack of workforce. You have one server handling the entire restaurant there's a definite problem with management. I also had to request hangers for my room which was unacceptable. On the good side the golf course was great however the merchandise was well over priced.
