Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Close to local shops and restaurants. It's a small building and not really suitable for people with disabilities. The locals drink there which must be a good sign.

We loved our stay at Rose and Crown! The staff were so friendly. Our room had so much character, and was bigger than we would have expected. It was quite comfortable and surprisingly quiet (we were there midweek on a slightly rainy day). We also ate at the pub and really enjoyed our meal. We would stay again!

Lovely stay, as described.

Room was clean and as described, plenty of bedding and towels, simple breakfast but freshly baked croissants was a win :) steep stairs up to our room and to the bathroom - it is noted on the description but high potential for slipping/hitting your head!

I had a great stay at the Rose and Crown, it was so convenient to where I had to get to daily. The staff were really friendly, I was on my own but felt very welcome. I had a great breakfast, I'm gluten free, but nothing was a problem.
