Good Overall

It was good overall. Surface cleaning only, lots of rubbish and dust under the furniture and beds as we had to move it all due to the toddler, it was very disappointing to see it for the price you pay. Under cover swimming pool was great, but very strong chlorine smell. Was too windy to experience outdoor pool. Reception staff is very friendly. House keeping is relatively quick with bringing all the required items. Unfortunately, we got stuck there due to the cyclone Alfred and couldn’t do much as almost everything was closed. Our flight got cancelled and we made a decision to drive out of Gold Coast to avoid potentially getting stuck there and in a rush we have left 3 make up bags behind with some minor items like baby nail items, hair ties, makeup, some basic medicine and unfortunately the hotel cannot find any of them, which means someone would have kept them which I don’t know why would you when it all cheap items.

Terrible hotel. The worst booking I’ve ever had via hotels.com. Was told the booking wasn’t forwarded to the hotel. Then I was told it was $25 to park on site but arrived and they said car park is full and resulted in a long walk in the rain. I was helping my friend who is disabled and he struggles to walk due to Parkinson’s disease. The room was so dirty - mould, hair in bathrooms.

Spacious unit with enclosed balcony Nice furnishings and the kitchen along with laundry facilities made for an enjoyable stay. The only negative was the whistling/howling wind noise above 60 decibels when the wind rose above about 20 kph. There are numerous casual and fine dining options within walking distance and the beach with a nice boardwalk is across the street Views along the coast are very nice
