Staff was friendly and helpful. Building is older and many little aspects not kept up—door numbers falling off, moldy caulking in showers, sink drains broken… the place has great potential and a cool history. Sad to see it not kept up.

No frills motel in a sleepy hamlet.

Breakfast was a tad less than adequate with weird looking scrambled eggs, tough overcooked sausage, under-baked biscuits, the gravy was good- but overall selections were narrow. Staff were helpful and congenial. Room was clean, but showing signs of wear. Definitely a no-frills place but adequate for my needs.

I booked a pet friendly 2 queen bed room, and received a pet friendly 2 very small bed room. They definitely weren't queen size. Also, the fan in the bathroom didn't work, the light above the sink didn't work, the ac was missing buttons and was stuck at 68, and the doorframe looked like considerable damage had been done to it and it wasn't fixed. There was a gap in the frame that made the door wobble. We put our things in front of the door to deter anyone thinking about getting in... The breakfast potatoes were yummy, but the sausages were rock hard and my dog wouldn't even eat them. The staff at the front desk were kind.
