We didn't get past the lobby! When we entered the parking lot, there were only a few cars (much less than expected for the time of evening we arrived). We entered the lobby and was hit by a wall of stink & heat, I have no idea what smells that bad! It was warm outside (lower 90's) and the lobby wasn't cool at all. There was no staff at the front desk. We sat there long enough to discuss what we wanted to do for several minutes and by the time we left, still no staff anywhere. I've never had this terrible of an experience at a motel/hotel before. We left the property and went somewhere else for the night.

The property looks like its going through various stages of remodeling. It will probably be much nicer when finished. The bed was clean and comfortable but furnishings were very used. Bathroom floor needs new tiles. The desk clerk was very nice and welcoming.

Upon arrival, the exterior of the property appeared to be ok and looked decent. However, upon entry into our room, it was the most discussing and gross places I’ve ever stayed. The smell of the room was horrendous and everything was so dirty. I will never stay there again. Unfortunately we had no other option for lodging in this town on a very busy weekend.

Positives: quiet property. Close to wherever you want to go, staff is super friendly. It’s an old property with stained carpet, and beat up furniture. But we wanted cheap, and for what we paid abs needed it for was good. Check if your door locks because the first room we were at someone glued the lock. We discovered as we were leaving for dinner. They immediately moved our rooms, but it wasn’t the same amenities (we booked king). No coffee maker in rooms but there is in the lobby. Breakfast is basically cereal and grab n go. But there is a food truck (Lupe’s) walking distance that’s incredible.

Roaches

The staff was super friendly, but the rooms were disgusting. It looked clean at first look, but once you sit in the bed you can just see roaches crawling everywhere. From babies to full grown ones it’s was truly disgusting. I had higher hopes, but they were crawling on the night stand, the walls, dresser, bathtub, and more. I even went and got fast food and sat my drink down on the night stand and I look over and there are 2 roaches crawling on it!!!
