The Falling Pecan Lakehouse

Newly remodeled lakehouse on quiet channel of Lake Granbury. Swim and play with water toys all day, cozy up in the sunroom with a good book, or venture down to the adorable historic town of Granbury.
No matter the occasion, we guarantee you'll love your stay at the lakehouse.

The lake house was perfect. We had plenty of room for all of us. Semi secluded, which was great. We tried fishing but just got some small bites, definitely bringing personal fishing gear next time. Host communicated very well and answered all questions we had.

This was a wonderful house that was very clean and had everything we could ask for for a weekend stay. The hosts were helpful with any questions and left excellent instructions for anything a guest could need. While we may not have used the lake access, it was very nice to have, included kayaks available is wanted.

The property was great! Well furnished, spacious and depicted exactly as in the pictures. The host was super responsive. We stayed for a quiet ladies getaway but will be back with our families. Definitely a great option if visiting Granbury.

The inside of the house was beautifully redone and clean. The house was only 6 miles from the historic district and 2 miles from HEB. So great location. We even met the neighbors and one came to help us immediately with the kayaks. Very hospitable and the host Jamie was very sweet, welcoming and wanted everything to be perfect for us. VERY QUIET Location.

Wow!! There are just not enough words to describe our beautiful stay! From the best host (quick to respond with every question) to the amazing, completely updated home. Peaceful location on cel de sac with amazing sunroom & covered back patio on arm/inlet of lake. We did not have time this trip to kayak or enjoy water activities but great spot to do so! Serene areas to read, drive your morning coffee or play games. Large screen tv was nice for watching football & beds comfortable too! We enjoyed watching the geese also!

We stayed for the weekend to celebrate my mother-in-law’s 82nd birthday. The property was very clean. We had a great view of the canal and we were allowed to bring our German Shepherd with us. Excellent communication with the host. She sent me a weather update prior to us coming and even allow us to check in early and check out later if we needed to.

We were very impressed with the nice updates to the interior of the home. The space was great for a mother/daughter/2 granddaughters weekend. We enjoyed playing games and watching TV while also having the pretty lake view. The host was very responsive when we had some internet issues and she got it up and running quickly. The beds and sheets were nice and comfortable and there were plenty of towels & supplies for our weekend. Really nice property!

We Had A Great Time!!

The house is so cute!! Great location right on the water. Sweet and quiet neighborhood. We swam and kayaked and cooked and had an amazing weekend. Would definitely book this house again.

Excellent place for a group of friends or a family with small kids.

The place was clean and beautiful on the inside. The place was well stocked with essentials. It was nice and cozy with a faux fireplace entertainment system. The beds were all very comfy. The curb appeal was not that appealing. The outside definitely does not match the inside. The driveway was not paved and hard to back out of. Also it was hard to see the house number especially at night. There wasn’t a whole lot of place to park either. But I would definitely think about coming back here with my husband and 2 kids.

Great for families and activities

Hosts were responsive and generous with our check in/out times. Only had 1 small issue and they helped me fix it immediately. Our kids loved using the kayaks, lilly pad, and paddleboat. House is a solid 10 mins from downtown Granbury so be prepared for that.
