Very clean, comfy, affordable hotel in Lutsen. I love how they use large bottles of shampoo/conditioner/body wash for the shower, instead of using little individual bottles (the Earth does, too!;) but it would be nice if they were mounted in the shower, as the shape of the bottles intended, for easier use. But it's a quiet hotel, surrounded by wilderness. Their little seating spots, grill & fire pit were precious and gave good space for watching all kinds of wild life. They have an honor system for paying for well stocked snacks in their kitchen, with only complimentary coffee & tea. Overall, a very nice, stress-free stay, and we would come again.

Our stay at The Mountain Inn at Lutsen was amazing. The staff was more than welcoming and understanding with accommodations and requests. Our room was perfect for my girlfriend and I. It felt pretty up to date and comfortable for the two of us. I would definitely stay here again in the future!

The hotel itself was pretty good. However, we could hear noises from the room next to us which affected our sleep. Also, we had to manually hold the tub water control to allow the water to pass through after the shower for more than a minute which was annoying!
