I will say Princess Senses Mangrove resort was a great experience and highly recommend. It’s definitely slower paced and quiet. Good was great with top shelf liquor. I would say they should incorporate more activities in the day time to keep guest entertained. I stayed in the Oclub, very intimate, perfect for a honeymoon. Also the customer service is 5 stars across the board. I would say the property still has some areas under construction but with time this place will definitely be a hot spot. I also had access to the Princess Grand side which is the family side and again I was impressed and will definitely be back with my kids.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Princess Senses. The staff was fantastic and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. We frequented the gym facilities - which was akin to a smaller Equinox gym - and enjoyed the Pilates and yoga, and circuit training. Also the resort was not crowded and we had no difficulty getting seats by the pool. There are about 14 restaurants, we made it a goal to visit at least 10 of them - food was amazing across the board and only the Tappenyaki restaurant required reservations. It felt like the resort was being cleaned 24/7 because staff were always at work. We had a couples vacation this time around, and can’t wait to bring our kids to Princess Grand next year. This resort was spectacular. Any grips I would highlight would only be knit picking, all in, we had an amazing time.

During our stay, our toiletries, towels and refilling the refrigerator were not replaced throughout our stay. The most problematic was finding a sweepes seltzer soda filled with alcohol. My friend had a stomach ache wanted to take seltzer water to help Instead encountering alcohol to her mouth which caused a reaction. We spoke to the general manager and put in a complaint. This issue has occurred during the week of April 14-17 and yet nothing about this incident. I written three emails to the manager regarding the follow-up, no reply and no response to this date. I would like to continue to advocate to other potential guest to be careful about the bar in your room.

We just left a few days ago and had an amazing time! We staying on the senses side in a swim up suite in late May and really thought the resort felt a little empty. It seemed like most people stayed on the family side and I enjoyed that - there was no fighting for chairs at the pool or beach, no waiting to get a table at dinner etc. Weather was perfect while we were there, high 80’s most days the only down side was it did rain pretty much everyday from like 2-6pm. Staff was extremely nice and the resort seems very clean and luxurious. We enjoyed majority of the food and id say it was better than a lot of other resorts that I’ve been to food wise. 10/10 would come again.

Princess level relaxation at the Princess

The stay was really good. There were a few minor things that would have made it better 1. When we arrived at our rooms after our long journeys, our room keys were not activated. The lobby is not close, so it was an annoyance but not a deal breaker. 2. We should have been offered a tour of the property or at least a break down of the restaurants and their operating times, shows, etc. Or in the least where to find that info. 3. The spa prices and a bit high forJamaica

Transportation options felt a bit restrictive and expensive for the excursions. The resort offers free airport transfer if you book directly through them but not for Expedia clients. We hired a private cab from the airport and one way was $120- $130 usd (plus tips). The a la carte restaurants only open from 5:30 pm to 9:30pm. We felt this was very limiting. We could not really explore the great options available due to service times so missing a day meant having to wait till the next to try any restaurant. This can be improved especially because the buffet restaurant generally serves the same thing. The room also had an odor. It was manageable but I think this can definitely and should be improved. We enjoyed our stay overall. It could have been a slightly better experience for a luxury stay.

Don’t go. I am begging you! Been to many resorts in the Caribbean and never had a worse experience. We struggled before arriving to upgrade our room. We made several phone calls to the resort (cost approx $100) bc first we were told no rooms available to upgrade to, asked a manager to call us and no one ever did. Then we were told we could upgrade for $300, but they never sent us the link to pay. Next call took an hour to get it settled. Upon arrival, we were held hostage in the reception area for hours bc they said we owed $300 for upgrade. We showed receipt email on our phone, but they wanted more. Spent 20 mins trying to connect to wi-fi so we could email the receipt they emailed us! Realizing it was going to take forever to check-in, we asked to eat lunch. Return from lunch (mediocre), and were told that we owed $1500! This took another 30 minutes to fix. We were clearly upset. They half-heartedly apologized and then gave us the worst room on the resort, which has over 1k rooms. Room (which only got cleaned once) was on 2nd floor so obstructed views, but worse, it was directly across from the elevator (no privacy & noisy), and at end building where the staff and security congregate, so NO privacy on our balcony. They did NOTHING to make it up to us. No upgrades, no spa treatment, no fruit and cheese plate. NOTHING. Fire alarm went off when we showered. Pools and ocean are knee deep so no swimming. Waitstaff were awful. Failed to deliver breakfast morning we left.
