It worked

Front desk was nice. Hotel very dated and old. No hot water in shower. Blankets had burn marks and were not in great condition. Overall, i just needed a place to crash.

Know your surroundings, don't get too comfortable

I have never been in Greenville and not felt safe, anywhere (and I've been all over the area, I used to love there), and even though I know that there are some not so great people who live at the motel, I know it's cheap and stay there when I'm just need a bed and shower for the night. I've never had any problems before, but this last time, we had 2 very unsavory looking guys beating on our door in the middle of the night. Called the front desk and she called the police, but regardless, no one should have been beating on our door or trying to open the door to our room! Period! Fortunately, my husband carries, and no we didn't open the door, but it was still an experience that I don't want to repeat! And, what's worse, when we went to check out the next morning, the other woman just acted like it was no big deal, like it happens a lot, or something. No, this is not acceptable. I always do my due diligence before staying anywhere because we do travel frequently, but like I said, I've stayed before, and just wanted a shower and some sleep. Unfortunately, my husband got no sleep the rest of the night, and we had to travel through the mountains to get to our next destination. I'm not saying don't stay, usually we feel safe, but this last time, I realized just how dangerous it could be.

The place smelled horrible.. the place was not kept .. a lot of broken doors like someone had a fight in the room.. didn’t feel comfortable sleeping on the bed so I sprayed down with Lysol and covered sheets .. we were traveling and just wanted to get a few hours sleep..

BED BUGS AT GREENVILLE INN & SUITS

It was terrible, The people at the front desk and the other housemen tried deny that there BED BUGS IN THE HOTEL UNTIL I STARTED TO SHOW ALL OF THE VIDEOS I HAVE ‼️ I HAVE NEVER SEEN A BED BUG BEFORE IN MY LIFE IT WAS A HORRIBLE TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD TO DEAL WITH AT A HOTEL AND NOT THAT I WANTED TO BUT THE FRONT DESK WORKER GONE SAY I COULDNT CHANGE ROOMS OR GET A REFUND IF I DECIDED TO STAY I WOULD HAVE TO STAY IN THE ROOM , HOW NASTY AND DISGUSTING IS THAT TO TELL SOMEONE I COULD NOT BELIEVE THE DISRESPECT AND THE WAY THEY HANDLED THE ISSUE DIDNT EVEN TRY TO GO CLEAN THE ROOM WOW SMH AND NOW I AM ITCHING AND SCRATCHING EVERY WERE THIS IS RIDICULOUS AND UNACCEPTABLE ‼️

Specifically asked about the swimming pool before I booked the room, I called ahead. When I had my swimsuit on and cooler packed, I headed to the pool and it had padlocks on both gates, pool closed . People clearly live here full-time, which is fine, but they should put guests in a separate part of the hotel so the people don’t stand outside your room talking at 3 o’clock in the morning. When I asked for a late check out due to lack of sleep, I was told no.
