The hotel definitely looks better on pictures than in person. Rooms have terrible finish from the flooring to bathrooms. It’s definitely camping at its finest. It’s pretty much an aluminum frame tent. Bathroom sink has no hot water option.Keep in mind this is an outdoor shower so you can plan accordingly for at night and or under elements. Its imposible to keep floor dry in bathroom let alone room. On Expedia room listed as heated and A/C there’s no heating just heated blanket so you can only be warm if your laying in bed or completely covered in your room. As stated above you will be in a tent so expect a bug or two inside your tent. As far as the good goes Staff is great probably one of the best I have experienced they go above and beyond. The food and drink also very good no complaints there at all.

Best hotel ever

Absolutely hands down the most unique and luxurious place we have ever stayed. We had zero complaints. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. It was very easy to get to places around the area including to Guatape. The mushrooms were spacious and especially enjoyable to stay in during night time thunderstorms.

I recently stayed in what was called the Mushroom Room at this glamping hotel. While the concept sounded charming, the experience was a bit less comfortable than expected. We had to walk about five to seven minutes over a very rocky and slippery path in the rain to reach our room. Once we got there, we found out the washroom was actually outside, which wasn't mentioned beforehand. Given the chilly weather—around 15 or 16 degrees Celsius—showering outside in the rain was quite uncomfortable. Additionally, the room didn’t have any window shades, so we were woken up by bright daylight at around 6 AM. On top of that, there was no heating inside, and it was pretty cold at night. Overall, I felt these details should have been made clear in advance. Unfortunately, the hotel was unwilling to offer a refund when we chose not to stay. If you’re considering booking, just be aware of these factors so you can be prepared."

Glamping in Guatape

The stay was very nice and relaxing. The area is beautiful with multiple excursion options. We did helicopter ride, boat ride, coffee tour, and massages. All were awesome experiences! Highly recommend. Only negative was not having room cleared one day.
