Pelican Bay is a unique gathering of homes situated on a beautiful 2-acre estate overlooking the majestic Mobile Bay. Being located along the Fort Morgan peninsula and surrounded by massive oak trees gives you the ultimate in privacy and peace that you're truly looking forward to in a true waterfront destination while being a short drive from numerous Gulf-front beach accesses, boat launches, world-class golfing, restaurants, shopping, and fishing opportunities. Truly a home that has it all!

The entire property is made up of 3 homes that can handle any group up to 17 people and even your fur babies if you desire. The main cottage is a cozy 3,200 sq ft home with no detail left unimagined. Its Mediterranean style build is centered around a historic wood-burning fireplace that dates back to the early 1900s and boasts Spanish-tile flooring, expansive wood plank ceilings with custom skylights, plastered faux finished walls, a fully-stocked Italian kitchen with granite countertops, custom wood cabinets, 2 living rooms, a spacious attached screened-porch, and plenty of space for everyone to gather and entertain.

Also on-site are 2 spacious cottages that are separate from the main home. "Cozy Cottage" sits along the Bayfront and adjacent to the private pool where the views overtake your every sense. Its 500 sq ft open floor plan provides sleeping for 4 with 2 Queen beds, a TV, and a full bathroom that will leave you refreshed and revitalized. The 2nd cottage, "Diane's Hideaway" is 600 sq ft of spacious living located just behind the main dwelling and comfortably sleeps 4. This cottage hosts a Queen bed & Queen sofa sleeper, a full kitchen, a full bathroom, a TV, and a sizable living area that makes it a great additional space for everyone to spread out comfortably.

Bedroom Details:

Main Cottage (Sleeps 9):
Bedroom 1: King bed with private en-suite bathroom (walk-in shower).
Bedroom 2: Queen bed with direct access to a full bathroom.
Bedroom 3: 2 Twin beds + Queen sleeper sofa with nearby full bathroom.
Additional Bath: Another full bathroom in the hall with walk-in shower.

Cozy Cottage (Bayfront, Sleeps 4):
Bedroom Area: 2 Queen beds in an open floor plan.
Bathroom: 1 full bath with tub/shower combo.

Diane’s Hideaway (Sleeps 4):
Bedroom 1: Queen bed.
Living Area: Queen sofa sleeper.
Bathroom: 1 full bath with shower.

Paradise at Pelican Bay

This home and it's property is absolutely gorgeous! There was more than enough room for all of us. Both of the cabins were perfect for our family with babies. As soon as we walked in the front door, we were all overwhelmed by the decorative pieces that made the house feel so relaxing!! We absolutely have NO complaints and are grateful you allowed us to make beautiful memories in your home.. We hopefully will return i. The future!

Pelican Bay, a great place to relax & make great memories.

Nine of us stayed at Pelican Bay and there was plenty of room for everyone, including our mini schnauzer. The kitchen was well-stocked and big enough for us to cook meals together. We truly enjoyed eating in the screened in patio. It’s also a great place to start the day with a cup of coffee.We knew the pool isn’t heated but due to the tremendous amount of leaves that kept blowing in it, we didn’t find it enjoyable to swim in.Other than that, everything was perfect!

Getting there is a little weird as stated by others. House being built next door that isn’t in pics but understand can’t update often. Just be ready to see workers around. Small cottage next to main house smelled musty and door didn’t lock. Main house was fantastic. Great place to gather for all 13 of us. Pool and yard were also fantastic. Kids never got out except to go to beach. We all had dinner one night in the club house down by the water. Also great for sunsets.. Just make sure you have code for Dianne’s Cottage before you get there. We didn’t get it and took over an hour to get into it after we got there. It was a very good time. Would recommend to anyone

Loved it!

We absolutely loved Pelican Bay and will be back! The relaxation you feel watching the sunset and sunrise in the screened in porch on the bay is unmatched. The pool area is beautiful and serene. We are already planning next years trip to Pelican Bay.

10 of us stayed @ pelican bay! 6 adults 4 teenagers with plenty of room! We loved the cottages-they provided plenty of room! The main kitchen is huge & beautiful! We spent most of our time in the boat house! We fished & watched the Bay-we saw a dolphin swim by! We spent lots of time around the pool which is wonderful but could have Ben alittle cleaner-Reed reality was very attentive to tho! We all loved our vacation & would love to stay again!

Kitchen was the best stocked I’ve ever stayed at. Location great. Dianne’s cottage was a bit deceiving in that it was farther away than we anticipated. Check in was a bit goofy. Could have just emailed me the code. Not all of the info for getting in the extra cottages was handy. Had to call for the code to get into Diane’s cottage. Had to hunt for the key to the other cottage. The pool was not clean. Bought shock stuff to put in it but did not help. The real issue was bug bites, which we assumed were from the yard. By the second night I thought we were going to have to leave. I bought insect stuff to spray on the screens and put on pathway to water. Couldn’t go on the grass at all. My mother was still having issues 2 days after we left. I hope they were from the yard!

Great house

The only con for us. Pool is not heated. Water was too low to fish off the dock and parking a pontoon boat was tricky. Besides that this was a perfect house for the 9 of us. Located just far enough from the spring breakers but not to far to run to the store or dinner. VERY clean and loved the beds. Very quiet area.

Beautiful Hidden Gem

We absolutely love the house all the beautiful Spanish details. The kitchen is one of the best stocked kitchens I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying. Could use additional silverware. The grounds are amazing and we love the fairies and contributed to their garden. The pool was the perfect hangout for sun and relaxing. However the black flys were bad in Aug. Fishing off the pier was so much fun and playing cards and games in the screened porch. Wonderful property, hated to leave because it was so relaxing. Highly recommend.

Large Families

The place is set up very nicely for large family gatherings. My wife & I booked this place for the 2 of us, our 4 adult kids with their spouses & our 7 grand kids ranging in age from 2 to 12 years old. There are 4 bedrooms & 2 full baths within the main house. There is a small cottage just outside the backdoor of the main house with a full bath & 2 queen beds in the cottage. There is a 2nd cottage out front of the main house that has a full bath, a small kitchen, a small living room with a pull out couch & a separate bedroom area. The pool was a great addition for keeping the grand kids entertained when there was down time during the week. The dock allowed fishing & setting crab traps throughout our week long stay. Although the kitchen appears to be stocked with everything you would need during your stay, it is very disorganized. You may have to open every cabinet to find something but odds are that it is in the kitchen somewhere. We are currently planning a cruise for next years family trip. The entire family enjoyed the place & we will probably return @ some point in the future.

Canadian Family Getaway

This hardly ever happens, but the house and property were even better than we imagined! Plenty of room for everyone to have some personal space, and lots of gathering places for the whole gang come meal time. We spent every evening down by the dock. The only thing that could be improved is the wifi in the outbuildings and on the grounds. The weather was a little chilly for us to use the pool (mid April) but the younger brave ones did take a quick dip. Overall, we all agreed that we would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a fantastic holiday!

Great private get away

From check in to check out, this was a great experience. A beautiful, well cared for property with plenty of space for everyone. The purpose of our trip was for us to get together as a family, and for my father to meet his grand dogs. If you’ve been looking, you’ve run into many places that had weight limits for your dogs. I’m so glad that this place was so welcoming. My mother loved it so much that she already wants to plan another trip here, and she’s not easy to please. We would definitely come back.

Huge place for multiple guests

We enjoyed this property. Huge areas to sit and converse in the house. Best part was the enclosed sitting area by the bay. Just wished the pool was heated and we had a little trouble finding the place, but overall we highly recommend this property.
