Value for your money and a convenient enough location just outside of Gunnison makes this an ideal lily pad stop for your treks between the mountains. Breakfast was good. Property is slated for another comprehensive renovation. Hopefully the affordable value component will remain!

When we initially checked in there were two men in our room using the same bathroom. We went to the front desk and had our room changed. We were moved to the second floor and had a nice accommodation there. The breakfast was OK and the staff was friendly.

I didn't book this until I was having dinner the night I was staying. It just felt like it was gonna be a great place to spend the night. AND IT WAS. I loved this room!! Had everything I needed, a desk, nice pictures, a great bed, and a VERY comfy leather chair. Staff was wonderful

We loved our stay at this hotel! The staff was very friendly, check-in was easy, and breakfast was also great! The hotel was clean and very cozy. The location is close to the stores and Gunnison town. We skied at Monarch. The drive wasn't bad at all and we enjoyed the views and mountains on our way there.

bed bugs - beware

My husband had several bites when he woke up the next morning that he didn't previously have. When we called they said they don't have bed bugs because of the high altitude which is not true.

Most comfortable stay of my life.

Seriously, this was the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in, and I probably stay 130 nights per year in hotels for work. My boyfriend wants to know where they got the furniture. He said the chairs were even super comfy! Hotel staff is great.
