Lovingly restored, The Bird Ranch blends rustic simplicity with cozy elegance across 32 sustainable acres in Central California. The ranch features seven bedrooms, comfortably accommodating up to 11 guests (plus one additional guest for a nominal fee with an added twin bed).

The Experience

Spend your days floating in the pool, relaxing on the dock, or capturing photos of the farm animals in the fields. Watch for the incredible birdlife along the creek, sip coffee on the patio, and enjoy the slower pace of ranch life. In the evenings, gather around the fire pit, fire up the BBQ, or create pizzas together in the wood-fired oven.

Unique Stays

The original Hen House and Love Shack were once chicken coops, now converted into cozy outdoor bedrooms. Staying in these spaces is a little like glamping! They are charming and rustic, but do not have attached bathrooms. Guests use the nearby shared facilities in the 1/2 bath or the original ADA-compliant showerhouse.

Important Notes
Maximum of 11 registered guests (no outside visitors, parties, or events). One additional guest may be approved upon request for a nominal fee.

Quiet hours begin at 10 PM per county ordinance.

Please do not move furniture; the home is historic.

A Note About Nature
Bugs and mosquitoes are a natural part of country life, but please know they are seasonal and not present all the time. We strive to keep the ranch comfortable and provide repellent and citronella candles to help make your stay enjoyable.

For extra comfort, we recommend:
- Using repellent before outdoor activities.
- Wearing lightweight long sleeves or pants in the evenings.
- Keeping doors closed or using screens to minimize bugs indoors.
- Mosquitoes are usually most active at dawn and dusk during certain times of year, so a little planning goes a long way. With these simple steps, you’ll be able to enjoy the beauty of the ranch while staying comfortable.
