My family was in the area for some weekend events at & around UMass, and this was a perfect landing place for the four of us! Tucked away in a quiet location but easy to get to Amherst and Northampton.

Cozy, comfortable and convenient

Lovely secluded cottage with woodland views and very cozy, comfortable interior. Easy access to local attractions including the famous Barstow dairy! Doorstep parking and great outdoor grill and furniture . State of the art kitchen! I’ll definitely return and bring friends.

Cute property

Cute, quiet and very comfortable. The driveway is a little interesting since you're sharing it with the owner, but with one car we had plenty of space. Would not recommend with rowdy children because of the spiral staircase. Would stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay! The hosts were great and happily answered our questions and fulfilled our requests. The cottage is smaller than we expected and the 2 main bedrooms are upstairs so make sure you are comfortable with the staircase as pictured. It worked for us.

Very Nice

Short leaf-peeping trip to New England. Lovely property centrally located to a number of mountains, trails and attractions. The house was comfortable, clean and well-stocked. The owner was VERY responsive and informative with local area recommendations. Relaxing, enjoyable stay!

Wedding in Northampton & Hiking in Hadley

The house was cozy and the location was quiet. Our family traveled to Northampton for a wedding and as a bonus surprise we found a great place to hike very close to the house. Fidel was very responsive to all of our questions.

Great location

My mom and I planned a trip to visit the Eric Carle Museum. The Hadley Hideaway was the perfect location. The area is very pretty, especially with the leaves changing colors. The house is very clean and had everything we needed. The hosts were very kind and responded to any requests immediately. My only issue/caution for future travelers is the house is hard to locate and Waze does not take you to the right address.

Fidel and his wife were gracious hosts, responding to all my questions as well as sending a lengthy list of local restaurants when I asked for them. All of them that we tried were excellent! The peaceful, secluded location was perfect for an extended weekend getaway while attending my son’s wedding. The cottage was immaculate, and it was very comfortable. I recommended the cottage to locals and guests attending the wedding since it was a wonderful experience, at the same nightly cost as a single hotel room in town. A accommodations!
