First time on rental market...Taking the Leap is as peaceful a location this close to the beach as you’ll find in Hampton. A short walk to the strip and beach with almost NO neighbors, beautiful sunsets and marsh views.

Inside, Taking the Leap is a quintessential New England style cottage with original knotty pine walls and cathedral ceilings.
This air-conditioned property is large enough for your whole family offering sleeping space for8- three comfortably sized bedrooms: master with queen sized bed, bedroom 2 with two twin beds, bedroom 3 with a twin bed and another arriving soon. An air mattress and futon offer additional sleeping space.

Walking distance to the beach. You’ll spend your days enjoying Hampton’s mile long Beach, rated one of the best in the USA.

Gather inside in the large, open concept kitchen, dining and living room space to play board games, make jigsaw puzzles or enjoy the 50” flat screen tv with Roku, or lounge outside on the HUGE deck.

Gaze at stars and watch sunsets by the fire pit. Take a ride on the beach cruiser bike or drop your kayak just out back to paddle along the river and shower afterwards in our private outdoor shower.

Parking? Relax! You’ll have space for 4-6 cars!

Avoid summer traffic and the one way loop with quick 2 way access to 101 and major interstate from Battcock Ave.

Excellent getaway! Awesome sunsets!

Excellent getaway! The cottage was very cozy and beautifully decorated. The owners were always available and the location was perfect! We hope to stay there again on our next vacation!

Beautiful cottage with a phenomenal location

The owners were wonderful to work with. Cheryl was amazing. The cottage is beautiful. It’s decorated beautifully. The location is private. It’s a short walk to the beach. We have a large family. 2 adults and 4 children. (Three teenagers) We did not feel crowded. The kayaks were a nice touch. The outdoor shower was also outstanding. We highly recommend booking this property. A+
