Yksinkertaisesti Awesome… Harbour Country Cottage on upouusi (helmikuu 2019) 4 makuuhuoneen, 4 kylpyhuoneen loma-asunto, joka sijaitsee Harbert Michiganissa (New Buffalon ja Sawyerin välissä), lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä kauniilta yksityiseltä Michigan-järven rannalta ja minuutin päässä Warrenin dyynit , viinitilat, panimot, kaupat ja ravintolat!

Vain lyhyen 80 kilometrin ajomatkan päässä Chicagon keskustasta, lomamökki sijaitsee rauhallisella alueella, jota ympäröivät kohoavat männyt, ja kaunis yksityinen hiekkaranta Michigan-rannalla vain lyhyen 1/3 mailin kävelymatkan päässä. Kävellessäsi kotiin olet tervetullut jättiläinen aurinkoinen eteinen, jossa on rentouttavat keinutuolit - sopii erinomaisesti aamukahvin / veren maistamiseen! Pääsisäänkäynnin sisään avautuu hickory-lattiapohjainen avoin käsite - nouseva 25 tuuman kattokeittiö / suuri huone. Täysin varusteltu keittiö on lähimpänä tuloa… erittäin kätevä varata varauksesi lomallesi. Ryhmien aterioita varten on oakki-pöytä, jossa on 8 istumapaikkaa ja 4-paikkainen saari.

Olohuone on suoraan vieressä keittiötila, joten on helppo tarttua välipalaan tai juomaan samalla kun rentoutat ylellisillä sohvilla. Kahden kerroksen kivikaasutakka sopii mainiosti viileisiin iltoihin, kun rentoutua juhlallisuutesi jälkeen suuren päivän rannalla tai lyömällä läheisille laitoksille. Mantelilla on 58 tuuman televisio televisiota varten, joka kattaa elokuvan Prime tai Netflix. Tai jos se on lämmin ilta, nauti valtavasta turvatarkastetusta takakuistista, jossa on ruokapöytä 6 ja valtava syvä istuinalue, jossa on näkymät metsäiselle pihalle ja rotkoon… niin rauhallinen.

Yläkerrassa on tilava aurinkoinen parvi-oleskelualue, jossa on kaksi erillistä vuodetta ja toinen 4K-televisio. Täydellinen alue perhelautailuille tai aurinkoiselle napille, kun olet lukenut suosikkirannan romaanin. Täältä löydät myös yhden kahdesta päämakuuhuoneesta (kuningas), jossa on myös sohva, jossa on vyöryä pienille. Kylpyhuone on korostettu suurella vapaasti seisovalla kylpyammeella. Muut 3 makuuhuonetta ja kylpyhuone ovat päätasolla. On toinen mestari (kuningas), jossa on oma kaakeloitu kylpyhuone, ja kaksi ylimääräistä makuuhuonetta (kuningattaret) ja kaksi muuta kaakeloitua kylpyhuonetta.

Ulkopuolella on suuri Weber-kaasugrilli, joka sopii mainiosti hampurilaisille tai pihveille ja palo-kuoppaan, joka lämmittää niitä tuoksuja autiomaassa samalla kun tekee hienoa tummaa taivasta. Sivuhuoneessa on ulkona oleva kuuma suihku hiekan huuhtelemiseksi ennen kuin tulet päivästä rannalla.

Sinun täytyy päästä pois auringosta päiväksi, ei ole huolia, että voit viihdyttää itseäsi vain lyhyen ajomatkan päässä… panimot, viinitilat, kasinot, kaupat, galleriat, ravintolat, hedelmätarhat ja mustikka-laastarit nimetä vain tai muutamia herkkuja.

Ryhmienne oleskelu satama-mökissä on varmasti ikimuistoinen ja palaat pian takaisin pian.

Tämä loma-asunto sijaitsee vain lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä kohteesta Michiganjärvi. Majoituspaikka tarjoaa asiakkaille esimerkiksi pyykinpesutilat. Loma-asunnossa tarjoaa keittiön ja 4 kylpyhuonetta.

Lovely, comfortable home that suited our family very well. It was well stocked for everything i.e., kitchne, beach etc,We loved both the front porch and back porch. Walk to beach was not too long although once you hit the footpath it was alot of up and down. We did it with a two year old butyou couldnt pull a wagon up to the beach stairs so it was just much slower. We would love to come back next year but the price point went up enough that it is out of our budget now.

Beautiful house

This is a beautiful house in a quiet neighborhood. Great set up. Beds comfy. Outdoor shower is helpful. Loved the screened in porch. We saw deer every day. Easy neighborhood to walk in. We had 4 generations from 2 mos to 81 yrs. That being said, the trip to and from the beach was a little tricky. There are a few sets of stairs to navigate of which we were unaware.

New Years weekend

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this lovely home! We were truly touched by the beautiful Christmas decorations that the hosts put up both inside and outside. It brought so much joy to our family during the holiday stay.All of the bedrooms were generously sized and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was also well-equipped with all the essentials, which was especially important for us since we were traveling with children.Overall, I want to emphasize just how cozy and convenient this home is. We had an incredible time together as a family, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to create those cherished memories. Thank you for being such wonderful hosts!

Wonderful August Family Beach Vacay

We stayed in this beautiful home nestled in peaceful woods at the end of August with our 3 young children, ages 6 months-5 years. It had everything we needed to be comfortable in the house as well as at the beach. The 10 minute walk to the private beach was beautiful. Not the most ideal with 3 young kids but we truly enjoyed the walk and with their set up it made it easy going to the beach. Our kids loved seeing the deer every day and even some turkeys! The owners were fast with communication and helpful if we needed something. I would recommend this to anyone and I would stay here again.

Great vacation house !!

We had a great time spent at this very nice house near the beach. Front and back porches were excellent and very relaxing. Accommodations were clean and kitchen was well stocked. Private beach and comfortable bedding.

Wonderful stay!

Our family had a wonderful stay at this property. Everything we needed was available for our use (beach stuff, kitchen stocked, etc). The porches were our favorite part of the house and we utilized them a ton. Rooms and bathrooms were perfect for our group and we also loved the fire pit. It was so nice to have firewood available for us to use!! The beach was very nice and is a great place to catch a beautiful sunset. The walk to the beach was fun and beautiful but more difficult than we anticipated (lots of up and down with stairs/hills) but everyone in our group was able to do the walk. I’d definitely recommend this house and would stay here again.

Great property!

Had to come up for a funeral and needed a place to stay for my family and my sister’s. This property was great and accomodated the 8 of us very comfortably. Clean, well appointed and in a very convenient area for us. Definately would rent it again or recommend it to others.

Weekend with friends

Eight of us stayed at the house for New Year's weekend and it was perfect (other than the fireplace not working). It had everything we needed to cook dinner in one night and was an easy walk to the beach. The space was also perfect for 4 couples. Would definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay. The home was nicely decorated and all of the bedrooms were very comfortable. We also had easy access to a beautiful beach. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch. We will definitely be back!

Family Retreat

We really enjoyed our time together at this home that is located in a wooded, peaceful setting. There was a slight mix-up with the cleaning crew on their schedule ahead of our arrival. Peter was able to rectify this quickly when we contacted him and without asking even refunded the cleaning fee. Things happen and it did not detract from our stay and we appreciate how it was handled. The home had plenty of space for our extended family of six. We had plenty of towels and amenities for our stay. This is a great place to stay with many things to do in the area. Having spent time in several other places along the Michigan coastline in past we found this area to be more laid back and peaceful. Thank you for opening up your home to us.

Very nice and relaxing

Despite being very hot, we all enjoyed the relaxing setting of the house and nearness to the beach so we could cool off. Peter was very attentive to our needs even texting me ahead of the heat to tell me how to set the thermostat to keep the home cool. Everything was just great. Thanks Peter!

A great time had by all!

The house was terrific, perfectly clean and with everything needed...comfortable beds, bathroom spaces for everyone, plenty of space for lounging and meals, a grill and firepit. The beach was a little bit of a walk but was georgeous and we had it to ourselves. Peter was available to answer questions ahead of our trip that helped in our planning and would have been available during our trip should we have needed him. We couldn't have been happier.

Great beach house property

Lots of things going for this house located within walking distance of a quiet, beautiful beach in MI. The house offers two areas for gathering so plenty of room for people to spread out and pursue different activities, watch tv, play games on the back porch, listen to music in the kitchen/family room etc. 4 Bathrooms and we never had any problem accessing hot water for showers. Kitchen provided us with everything we needed to prepare several meals for the whole group of 12. Also utilized the outdoor grill - it was the only thing that really needed attention but after a little cleanup it worked well. Walking down to the beach was fun - I do feel there could be clearer instructions on what path to take to the beach. On our first foray we walked up the street driveway right in front of someone's private residence. Also, the path to the beach does require you can walk over uneven surfaces and go up and down multiple steps. No problem for us but could be a challenge for some. Only other needs to improve would be a suggestion for a few more bath towels. We had a bare minimum and with going to the beach one or two times a day we could have used a few more. Very good location - lots to do - Dunes, towns, etc.

Back for our third summer!

This was our third time staying at this beautiful Lake Michigan cottage, and it was just as wonderful as always. The house is lovely and well-appointed, the private community beach can't be beat, and the accomodations are superb. Our kids love the loft area, and the adults love the rocking chairs on the front porch and evenings by the fire. Outstanding communication with the host as well. What a great place and a wonderful vacation spot! Thank you!!

Amazing house, great place to make memories

This was our second time staying at this house and it was just as much fun as the first. Great location, great property, great beach (although it was a little chilly to be on the beach in late May). Owners are fantastic and responsive and house has everything you need for a memorable weekend getaway. Make sure you try the Swedish bakery that’s down the road (amazing bread and pastries) and Infusco Coffee that’s in Sawyer. We are looking forward to making this an annual trip.

Our 8 night stay was fabulous!

We were there with our 2 adult children and their spouses plus an almost 2 year old. Each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom - even the toddler had his own bedroom and bathroom and there were beds we didn’t even use! Comfortable beds and pillows, a well appointed kitchen, comfortable couches, a huge screened porch, and a 5 rocking chair front porch. We were pleasantly surprised by all the beach gear and kids toys available in the porch closet and beach chairs are hanging from a rack right by the beach. The walk to the beach is down a sandy, tree lined road up a driveway and into a wooded path. Every trek to and from the beach was an adventure for our toddler as he walked along the path. The beach is wonderful; wasn’t crowded and the water is different from day to day - sometimes calm and sometimes wavy. The Harbert Community Park, The Swedish Bakery and 2 great restaurants are within walking distance. Our kids are already talking about returning next summer.

VRBO messed up our reservations

We were headed to the home & contacted the host for the entrance code. He said different people were booked. It had been double booked!! The owner was super nice & after much juggling found us a place to stay. AND he paid for it. We will get a full refund from the original booking. For 2 hours we were in limbo, the replacement house wasn’t as nice and VRBO hasn’t contacted us until this survey.
