Recreate in our historical 1100 SF, “diamond in the rough,” log cabin with all the comforts of home. Our historical, rustic log cabin sets you back in time, but with all the modern amenities. It nests on 13.5 acres, a ¼ mile from majestic Lake Coeur d’Alene to the public dock and beach. Enjoy summertime swimming, fishing, boating, trail hikes, eagle viewing, huckleberry picking, hitting the ski slopes in winter, and year-around pleasure and relaxation connecting with family and friends. This gem is hidden in a remote location, but is only a 20-30 minute scenic drive to Coeur d’Alene, 18 miles to historical Harrison, and just a 35 minute drive to slopes and 40 minute jaunt to historical, “Center of the Universe,” Wallace. Silverwood is a quick 45-minute drive and Triple Play is less. If you’re looking for solitude, relaxation on the country porch and evenings gathering around the wood fire pit, this is the ultimate escape! We do require a two-night minimum stay.

No loud noises after 10:00 PM. DO NOT leave perishables out. Leave all wildlife alone. No dogs on furniture or chasing of wildlife.
Host is on site and has two cats that frequent the cabin. Please assure your dogs and people do not harm them.

This place is just wonderful and very historic. Peaceful and interesting things around every corner! Sit in the hot tub or on the hammock and watch the hummingbirds and the deer. Anne is the kindest host we've ever had. Not only were fresh flowers were scattered throughout cabin, but she left a birthday cake and ice cream for my twins birthday

Coeur d'Alene Lake Stay

We had a wonderful time sightseeing in the area visiting Harrison, Coeur d'Alene and Wallace. The lake, with a swimming dock, is a 5 minute drive from the cabin. We spent a lot of time outside on the covered decks enjoying the beautiful garden, a "hummingbird haven"! Hot tubbing under the stars in the moonlight was also wonderful. The cabin has many modern updates and comfortable beds. We definitely will be coming back again!
