Overall the area around the property is very good easily access the coastal path lovely walk but tricky in some parts the shops and bars restaurants only 3 minutes walk and about 15 minutes to the cathedral the staff are very friendly and helpful breakfast was very good also do evening meals on the downside the rooms need updating sooner rather than later i I would consider returning in the future 😀 hopefully to refreshed rooms big thanks to all the staff doing a great job

Convenient location for exploring St David’s

Comfortable bed, clean bathroom and very helpful staff. As others have pointed out, the decor is tired but I certainly didn’t lose any sleep over it!

A little in need of a refurb?

Generally ok but in need of redecoration. Mould in bedroom and bathroom and snail-trails left by the snail on picture frame. Told housekeeping - thought it funny! But bed comfy, plumbing all worked well.

We had comfortable stay at the Grove. The room at first glance looked very nice but on further inspection it was not as clean as I would expect. It was dusty around lights, including the bedside light. The bathroom had a strong damp smell as the shower curtain was discoloured as it hadn’t been washed or changed in a good while. The decorative mirror had black mould in the carved white surround. The staff were helpful, especially the member of staff on duty at breakfast. She was great. The continental breakfast is good value at £6.95.

Poor hygiene do not stay

Dirty room, dusty, not cleaned, toilet dirty, shower grout dirty, dead flies, ripped curtain. Had full refund. Only beds and towells changed, room had not been cleaned in weeks. Unacceptable. Stuffing pouring out of chairs in communal areas. Shabby hotel. Do not stay.

May Bank Holiday Stay

Staff were friendly and helpful, common areas were clean and tidy, service was good, but the room floor was dirty, as were the bedside cabinets and the bathroom floor. There was what looked like mold on the bathroom wall and drip marks on both the bedroom wall near the bathroom and the bathroom wall itself. The paintwork in the bathroom and the doors needs updating as it's chipped and dirty.
