We had a lovely time in this heritage accommodation. Our host Sophie was welcoming, delightful and helpful. The property has plenty of character with art in every corner, a library, sitting room and a large garden. Dinner was delicious and good value. The beach is just across the road.

Our stay at Hawley House was one of the most superb we can remember anywhere. Sophie was very welcoming and obliging - an all-round excellent hostess. Quality accommodation in well-cared-for but still very warm and homely environment. Fantastic views and easy access to both bush and beach make Hawley House very hard to beat. Nothing like it in Tasmania. Steeped in history, superb coastal location with beautiful beaches a minute’s walk away. The host is wonderful and the restaurant meals are generous and exquisitely presented. Wonderful art, old world drawing room for pre dinner drinks and a lovely old library. A touch bohemian and totally loveable!
