Located at the foot of the fortress in the charming medieval village of Hérisson, this former 16th-century college has been fully restored, preserving its rich history. Enjoy a unique experience and be captivated by the English cottage atmosphere with its stone walls and exposed beams. The inner courtyard invites relaxation with its garden furniture, terrace, and swimming pool (open year-round, 3 x 3 m, 1.5 m deep). This historic building comprises two wings connected by walkways.
Ground floor: Gather in the large dining room with its kitchen opening onto the inner courtyard, one bedroom with a king-size bed (which can be separated into two single beds) and its own bathroom (bathtub and toilet), and a separate toilet in the hall.
First floor: Relax in the large living room around the wood-burning stove. Enjoy the various spaces (reading, games).
2nd floor: 2 bedrooms with one king-size bed (or two single beds) each, with an en-suite shower room with walk-in shower and toilet; 1 bedroom with one king-size bed (or two single beds) with a bathroom with bathtub and toilet. Each bedroom is equipped with air conditioning.
The Tower: (accessible via the footbridge or the courtyard) the gîte is just as impressive as the towers of Hérisson Castle, as it has one of its own! On the ground floor, you will find a laundry room. A spiral staircase leads to the first floor mezzanine, where you will find a bedroom with a double bed, and on the ground floor, two single beds and an extra bed. The Old College is waiting for you to continue its story! Parking is available in the village.
