Nice view behind hotel. Rooms outdated. Waited an hour for a room that ended up not being what I booked. I booked a king bed, ocean view with lanai. I got a room with 2 queen beds and a view of the roof and solar panels. They did give me a room with a better view but I paid for a king room and got a double queen room, so I still didn’t get what paid for.

The hotel public area is actually fancy and staff also very friendly. Parking is valet. But that’s just it. The room is old and not well maintained. We did not get any house keeping during our stay. Overall ok experience for a short stay.

Naniloa is always our go to when visiting for drag racing events. We live in Kona and often travel to Hilo as my daughter is a drag racer! Super friendly staff and always a great stay!
