A little disappointed
The kitchen was not well stocked with serving bowls/plates, etc. No small appliances other than a toaster and coffee No grill as advertised. We had an issue with the back slider door on day one coming off the track. Contacted the host thru email and did not get a reply back. Had to call him on his phone. He sent someone to look at it and they got it to open and close a little easier, but then it was not able to lock and there was a big gap in the bottom of the door where anything could of crawled in. The next morning, we went to open the door and the whole glass panel came out of the frame. Again we contacted the host and he sent someone to secure the door but we were not able to use it all week (the door to our patio). Thankfully we were an end unit and there was a slider on the side that we were able to use, but it opened up into trees and brush that we had to walk through. I contacted the host again about being compensated for this inconvenience and was very surprised at what they wanted to offer me as a compensation. I understand unforeseen things happen but when you pay thousand of dollars for a weeks vacation you expect it to be nice. We are just thankful that the door came off the track and the glass started falling out of the frame when an adult was opening that door and not a little child. It was a little disappointing we couldn't really use our patio off the living room because of the broken slider. A little disappointed with the way things were handled.
