The room is situated right with the bathroom area totally separate from the living area. I had a balcony and used it on ocassion to watch the traffic below. There is some traffic noise at night however this is Vietnam in the GovVap area and quite busy. There are two grocery stores just around the corner and numerous restaurants.

I enjoyed my stay at the Grand hotel. The facility is clean and my room fulfilled my use and the price was right. The staff was very good except that an overzealous housekeeper tried to enter my room to clean and do her work at 7:30 am and 7 am respectively. This was something I will overlook only this time. Next time I will become irate and complain to management. I was having a bout with insomnia and the housekeeper escalated it.
