Lovely hotel, staff friendly and accommodating, room excellent, bed & linen very comfortable. Bar & restaurant well priced. Could have had a magnified mirror in bathroom & fridge was not very cold otherwise a great stay

Parking at this hotel is more expensive ($30 for the night until noon the next day) than other options in the city. At least it could be free or reasonably priced. Rest all good.

There was no parking available, had to park behind the hotel in a very tight parking garage near the cinema and unfortunately the weather was not great so got stuck in the rain walking back

Hotel is very new and everything looks great. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Room is amazing and comfortable. Hotel is walking distance to the city centre, very convenient. Car park is secured and underground but just a bit hard to get in with big car. Buffet breakfast is lovely we all love it. Will definitely book again if visiting Hobart next time

We were disappointed in our stay. The reception desk were ok, but they were not overly enthusiastic. Quite stiff and formal. We tried to make dinner reservations but the app showed they were booked out until November. We ordered room service, just cheese sandwiches and a glass of wine. After waiting an hour we called down to the kitchen but no one picked up so we called the front desk. Said our order was lost and they would have it right up. When the order came up there were no covers on the dishes and some of the sides had spilled. They apologized and said we could have a free cocktail in the bar for the inconvenience. So the next day we go to the bar for our cocktail but they had no record of this. I explained and after consulting with someone not in the bar, they begrudgingly said we could have a glass of wine. This is not good customer service. Also, one of the mornings when we went down for the complimentary breakfast they said we had already signed in that morning. I politely said that was not the case and again they begrudgingly said we could have breakfast. We felt like we were not believed. On our last day we decided to try and eat dinner in the restaurant even though we did not have reservations. The room was mostly empty do we were hoping that we could enjoy a nice meal. We were informed that it would be ok, but there could be an extended wait. it just did not feel like the staff wanted any of our business and we felt like we were a bother instead of guests

Nice clean hotel. Front desk staff excellent and very helpful. Rooms are a lot smaller than it appears on their website. It worth upgrading to a Deluxe room. Otherwise they feel quite claustrophobic. Watch out for the Credit Card surcharge at nearly 2%. They don't warn you of this when you check in.

Overall it was good, clean and tidy, was in great condition and breakfast was great. It was disappointing I could not pay cash. It would have also been nice to know about the parking fees which were on the hefty side @$35 a night. The aircon didnt seem to maintain its temperature and for some periods it would blow cold air.

The property is in a great location, walking distance to all the food and attractions within the area. We loved the touch of warm cookie on arrival and water in our room. However if you have a car, parking is a nightmare the hotel charge $35 a night to park your car, otherwise you have to find street parking which is metered. We opted to park in the Village car park for $25 per night instead. House keeping never emptied our bins/rubbish our entire stay (5 nights) which was really strange and meant we had a pile of rubbish by the end of our stay. We also found the billing process quite strange, on arrival you are asked to pre authorise the total amount for your stay plus a $300 deposit which is fine. However when you depart instead of just processing the amount they already preauthorised they then make another transaction with the final amount meaning your money is held and it looks like you have been charged twice. This was not explained to us on check out so when we questioned a staff member about this they were very rude. For these reasons we would not stay here again, which is ashame as the hotel was really nice.
