Nestled just below East End Summit (upstairs apartment), East End Swell (downstairs apartment) offers a serene, 1,000-square-foot retreat with sweeping views of Kachemak Bay, the surrounding mountains, and distant glaciers. This thoughtfully designed downstairs apartment blends comfort, function, and style—ideal for couples, families, or travelers seeking a peaceful base for their Alaskan adventure.

The open-concept living space features high-end appliances, a fully equipped kitchen, and comfortable accommodations for up to six guests. Step out onto the private patio to take in the quiet beauty of the bay and mountain landscape. A dedicated freezer is available for storing your fresh catch, and the pull-through driveway provides easy access with plenty of room for boats and trailers. Whether you're fishing, hiking, or exploring Homer’s galleries and cafes, East End Swell offers a welcoming, well-appointed home base to return to at day’s end.

Traveling with a group? Pair with the upstairs unit, East End Summit, for a private, multi-level stay.

If I could give everything 10 stars I would. The house was extremely clean, Jackie reached out to us days in advance and gave us great directions there. She was so kind and had everything ready long before we got there. All the appliances worked perfectly. The house was spotless and well built, with plenty of towels, silverware, cups, and plates. It has an amazing view out the front window. I would recommend this place to any small family or small group of friends coming to Homer. It’s awesome!

Wonderful property! It is in a quiet neighborhood near Homer. You walk in and see the expansive view of water and mountains! It’s extra comfortable. A nice table for game night, more room for dining at the large kitchen island, and a sectional sofa. The beds were very nice, and the sheets were so soft! The back patio was nice for sitting outside with a cold one. The bathroom was like new. The bathtub could use grab bars or at least a bath mat, it was slippery.

The property owners were fabulous to work with they went above and beyond to accommodate us with our needs. The outdoor freezer for fish deserves its own 5 star rating, you all are so thoughtful and your attention to detail shows throughout. We will definitely reach out the next time we are in Homer!

Highly Recommend!

I stayed here for a couple of nights with my dad and brother-in-law on a fishing trip, and we all agreed this was one of the best places any of us have ever stayed. The location was great — just far enough out of town to feel peaceful, but still close enough for convenience. The house had a great layout, was very comfortable, and had everything we needed and more. It was well stocked and clearly well cared for. Jackie was an excellent host — very helpful and always quick to respond. I’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful modern property

We stayed in the lower level of this new, modern property. The kitchen is fully stocked, appliances high end. The second bedroom has two beds which was great for our family. We came to go fishing and the Spit in Homer is only 15 minutes away. The owner was very kind and made sure our stay wonderful

Perfection!

My family and I absolutely loved and enjoyed our stay. There was more than enough room to accomodate my family of seven. The view was amazing, the beds were so comfortable, the unit was very clean and tidy, everything was perfect. Next time we're in Homer we will most definitely try and stay here again.

What a wonderful three days we had! We were blessed with good weather and were able to enjoy coffee in the morning and dinner on the porch with incredible picturesque views. The place was clean, new and has everything you might need! After a day of hiking or boating the apartment welcomes you home. The location is close to town but far enough away from the crowds. A family of Sandhill cranes are crazy cute and kept us entertained with flying lessons on the driveway. I will definitely come back!

Delightful Homer Accommodations

We were quite impressed with the above and beyond details provided at this property. From Dawn Powerwash to Olive oil, soft towels and linens, this house was the best place we stayed in Alaska. Jackie, our host, was easy to communicate with and responsive with messages. The view of the mountains was spectacular. We even saw a moose in the backyard We want to come back someday!

The East End Swell is a great spot to stay. The view of Kachemak Bay is wonderful. The quality of this new build is very good. It was a very well equipped and fully stocked kitchen. Jackie was very responsive in communicating and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there!
