Part of Cedar Crest Cottages, a historic vacation retreat dating to the 1930s, the newly renovated cottage features stylish decor, modern amenities and a tranquil mountain ambience. Located on the ground level of a two-story cottage, Chickadee welcomes guests to an open-concept living area with heated stone floors, wood-paneled walls and high ceilings.

A private bedroom comfortably sleeps up to two guests with a king -sized bed. Tastefully styled in soft tones with stone floors and plush bedding, the bedroom features a luxurious en-suite bathroom with a tub shower. The cottage also has a separate guest powder room.

A washer and dryer, ironing board and complimentary laundry pods add convenience, particularly for longer stays.

As a guest of Cedar Creek Cottages, you’ll enjoy access to the community BBQ grill and oversized fire pit with filtered lake views, including glimpses of the mountains. In the summer, stroll to the beach across the street for swimming, sailing and boating on the lake, or hike through the surrounding mountains. In the winter, drive less than two minutes to the family-friendly Homewood Mountain Resort, or just 25 minutes to the varied terrain of Olympic Valley. The restaurants, shops and entertainment of Tahoe City is just 10 minutes away.
