Quiet, wooded setting, 1 mile from Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore boundary, 3-1/2 miles to Lake Michigan beach, 5 miles to Lakeshore Visitor Center in Empire. Property abuts hundreds of acres of public land. Near NW Michigan Leelanau wine country. 23 miles to Traverse City. A/C. W&D, Gas Fireplace. Smokeless Fire Pit.

We had a fabulous stay. The home was cozy, set in the country on a large wooded lot. It was a quick drive to sleeping bear dunes and close to Glenn Arbor. Gary was a responsive host and easy to communicate with. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to visit the area. Hope to stay here again.

We loved being 6 minutes form Esch Beach and Treat Farm Trail, two of our favorite places in the area. It was clean and quiet, with cozy cabin vibes. Someone did a lot of custom woodwork in this rental! It was nice to have a yard and trails behind the property to explore. The host was friendly and available via text for questions. Thanks, Gary! I hope we get to stay there again soon.

The house was very clean, and stocked with plenty of towels, linens, cooking utensils, paper towel, toilet paper, etc. Perfect location for exploring Sleeping Bear Dunes and Leelanau. Would definitely stay here again!

The home had all the amenities we needed to prepare meals. I especially appreciate the option for pour over coffee. The bathrooms were clean and could only be improved by adding a few more wash cloths. The bed linens were clean and comfortable, and it was nice to have different pillow options to suit individual preferences. The overall design of the home was beautiful and thoughtful. Gary, the property manager, shared that much of the interior wood came from the property which is pretty cool.

Lovely slice of paradise in Northern Michigan

The property was very pleasant from the deck to the grill and the fire pit to everything in the house. There were great amenities in the house, including paper goods, plenty of towels, and beach towels. It was very comfortable place to spend the week. The accessibility to Empire and the National Lakeshore was perfect.

Anniversary Get Away

Wonderful home, wonderful host

A great vacation home conveniently located near Sleeping Bear lakeshore. Gary was a wonderful host and good communicator. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening bonfires and the spectacular stargazing.

Gary was very helpful and kind. Im not much for computers so we communicated through text and a phone call. He had the place ready for us earlier than check in and let us know in advance. Very quit, peacful setting, not that the photos are'nt good but the cottage looks even better in person. Nothing was broken or in poor condition, we enjoyed our stay. Thanks Gary!

Great get-away location!

The house was very comfortable and well kept. Fantastic location. Just a short hop, skip, and a jump to some of the best beaches in the world. The walking trails on site are super, too. We could not have asked for more!

Wonderful vacation house

This house was perfect for enjoying Sleeping Bear lakeshore and surrounding area. We had all the activities close by and had the wooded, private property. We enjoyed biking, hiking, a Lake Michigan beach, and shopping small towns.

Fabulous Stay

This is a darling house. It has all the amenities needed for a great stay. It’s super close to Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes. Our family had a great time at the park, then come back to a wonderful place where they could spread out and rest from all the climbing. I would stay again in a heartbeat. Additionally, Gary the owner was very helpful and responsive. Excellent stay!
