This listing is very deceiving. The sketchy area was the least of my problems. There was mold in the bathroom, nothing sound proof. Also no mention of cash only deposit with no atm available. Roaches crawling on the bed and on the food I just bought from Whataburger down the street. All of the towels heavily stained and dirty. Shower curtain looked moldy and even though it is remodeled some, it’s still old looking hardware. Also construction going in the rooms so it was loud beyond street noise. If it wasn’t for the “good reviews” and the 8 rating I would have never stayed here. Horrible experience.

I received an email that stated check out time ends at anytime. I received a phone call stating if I wasn’t there shortly they would cancel my reservation. I showed up 20 mins later. There was no mention of a cash deposit on arrival. They charged my card before I arrived then charged the rest when I did arrive which was okay i guess. After I paid the total for the room reservation that the website stated they told me I needed to pay $50 for a cash deposit to be able to stay there. Scared I wouldn’t get my full amount we accepted and gave the receptionist $60 and she proceeded to ask if we had change. We didn’t have any smaller bills. She didn’t have any change for the random deposit they were charging so we had to leave $60 with them. They wouldn’t give us a receipt until the end of our stay that stated they took $60 in cash. We won’t be staying at anymore Days Inn from now on.

All worked as expected. Check-in was quick and easy. Nice clean room with a fridge and a microwave - used both. Some noise from a nearby highway, but not really bothering. AC unit was surprisingly quiet, big plus. Good breakfast - little better than the advertised "continental", in my opinion. Flawless checkout - just dropped in the keys and went on the road. Good value.
