Entering into the hotel was the freshest I've ever smelled. I loved that the room was nice and cold upon entering. I didn't want to leave. It's a very nice and relaxing stay.

Be clear with your customers

I would suggest you be clear at check in that breakfast is no longer complementary as announced online and on the brochure that’s found on the bed. Also, it wasn’t pleasant walking 3 flights of stairs due to broken elevator but I understood that that happens every now and then.

Kozy 3 night stay in Houston

Staff was amazing and very friendly. Rooms were surprisingly clean for the most part there was hair left in the shower but overall great for the price. The bed could use some upgrading but not horrible for the price. I’d definitely stay here again

The hotel itself seems pretty nice and is located in an area with a lot of shopping and restaurant. The actual room was large, clean, and well furnished. I wish there was a microwave in the room , but that isn't a big deal. The elevator was broken and there only one stairwell to the other 3 floors accessible to the public. The other stairwell (which was much closer to our room) is marked for staff only. This isn't a huge deal to me either, but could be a deal breaker if someone has mobility issues or is disabled. Our main issue is with management. There is a flyer in the room that specifies a complimentary breakfast. However while we were eating the breakfast (which was actually pretty good) a staff member asked if we had purchased "breakfast tickets". We said no and mentioned the flyer in the room. The staff member said the flyer was old and wrong and that breakfast had to be purchased. I asked if there was any place that specified that, and was told there was a sign. They sign was not hung anywhere in the facility. I paid for the breakfast tickets since we were already eating, Another hotel guest went through the same thing, and also had no idea about the breakfast ticket. I think this hotel is new and they are still figuring things out, but as of now I would likely not stay there again.

I love everything about this hotel. I’m very very picky about where I lay my head and to my surprise it was wayyyyy better than I expected. The hotel was excellent and the rooms were clean. No issues at all. The hotel smell kind of reminded me of the hotels in Cancun.
