After arriving and checking in, we found a dead roach in the shower. We asked the front desk if housekeeping could come take care of it and she said there is no housekeeping, but she’ll take care of it. There was one woman working the entire hotel. She was very nice. We also found that our room had no towels, so she had to bring us towels. The room was an accessibility room so it had a sliding door to the bathroom to accommodate a wheelchair, but that sliding door was broken both the handle on the inside of the door, and it was broken off the bottom rail or pin that the door was supposed to slide upon. Finally, there was a light in the room that we never found the switch to turn off so we slept in the room with one of the lights on the entire night.

I will never stay here again! I need refunded or comped some of the money. Horrible stay. Checked at 3:30 am and was chastised for not calling ahead to say we were gonna be late.Was given keys to room 320 and when we got up to it the door was not shut all the way. We walked in without using the key card. It looked clean enough so we stayed. There was no shower curtain in the room and when I went to try to call the service desk the phone was not plugged in. I plugged it in but it still did not work. I called on my cell phone to ask for a shower curtain. The next day I asked the cleaning cart lady on my floor that we needed towels, wash rags and changed bed linens. She stated that my room was not on her list and that I would have to tell the front desk that I needed overnight services. So I told the front desk.The lady acted "put out" that I asked for the linens and towels. Upon coming back to the room the bed was made but not changed. I know this because the beds had small stains on them (the reason I asked them to be changed) There were only 2 towels and no wash rags. I go back to the room but my key card does not work. I go to front desk and told her about the room not being locked the first night and she looked alarmed and asked if I had reported that. I unfortunately did not report it that night but was telling them now that you have to really pull the door to close and lock it. Key card expired 2 more times durong our stay. Pancake machine was great but no syrup.

hotel was clean, and in good condition for its age. staff was helpful and friendly. breakfast was good for free. very close to NASA, and Kemah is close by and was a fun "boardwalk" family oriented place to visit.

Hand Soap ran out and front desk had no extra. I didn't like the location of the room with it being on the first floor and next to the elevator and lobby. It caused the room to be noisy from people chattering especially when it was breakfast time. We asked for another room but wasn't allowed.

When first arrived the bathroom smelled awful. It did not smell clean at all and the toilet bowl was dirty too. There was only 2 towels in the bathroom, when we are a family of 4 and that was included in the booking. Also, each bed only had 3 very thin pillows. We asked for more pillows and were told they didn’t have any and were sent to cleaning and had not returned. I don’t know if this is what management told employees to say so they wouldn’t give more pillows out. Third, we asked for our room to be cleaned and we would tell when we returned that the carpet was not vacuumed. Lastly, we went out to the pool and it was dirty with dead bugs and leaves in the water. The tables had old cigarette butts on the trays and there were no clean towels outside. The only positive about our stay was the breakfast.
