Yhdessä Pohjois-Norfolkin halutuimmista kylistä sijaitsevassa upeassa kolmikerroksisessa tyylikkäässä mökissä on kaikki modernit mukavuudet, kolme kylpyhuoneellista makuuhuonetta ja upeat kauaskantoiset avoimet näkymät rannikolle. Etelään päin suljetulla pihapuutarhalla ja helpon pääsyn upeisiin paikallisiin ruokapaikkoihin, mitä muuta haluatte ?!

3 Knights Cottages on rakennettu vuonna 2019 arvostetun paikallisen rakentajan toimesta korkeimpien standardien mukaisesti. Se on terassin päässä, joka koostuu kolmesta tiili- ja kivilämökistä, jotka on asetettu takaisin rannikutieltä. Sisätiloissa on rauhallinen paletti, joka koordinoi seinien pehmeitä värejä huonekalujen ja sisustuksen kanssa ja luo yhdessä erittäin lämmin, rentouttavan ja vieraanvaraisen ilmapiirin. Pohjakerroksessa nykyaikainen avoin kaksisuuntainen sosiaalinen asuintila virtaa mökin päästä toiseen ja siinä on ylellinen lattialämmityksen lämpö. Yhdessä kauniisti varustetun keittiön ja suuren saaren kanssa, jossa on graniittitasot, vierekkäinen ruokailutila takana sijaitsevan puutarhan kaksinkertaisesti taittuvien ovien vieressä ja viihtyisä oleskelutila mökin edessä tarjoaa vilkaisun rannikolle. Aivan oleskelutilan vieressä on erittäin hyödyllinen kodinhoitohuone, joka sopii erinomaisesti märkien takkien (ja koirien) ja mutaisten kenkien säilyttämiseen. Sisääntuloaulassa on kätevä vaatehuone. Kolme makuuhuonetta (king, double ja twin) sijaitsevat kahdessa kerroksessa ja kaikissa on seinälle asennettavat televisiot. Ylimmässä kerroksessa olevista upeista kaksisuuntaisista Master-sviiteistä on parhaat näkymät rannikolle, joten voit taistella siitä! Ulkopuolella puutarhat kulkevat kolmelta puolelta, mutta vietat varmasti suurimman osan ajastasi täysin suljetussa etelään päin olevassa puutarhassa mökin takana, jossa voit istua ja ottaa auringonsäteet suurimman osan päivästä, rentoutua tietäen, että lapsilla ja koirilla on turvallista leikkiä.

3 Knights Cottages on ihanteellinen lomapaikka perheelle, kahdelle kolmelle pariskunnalle tai ystävälle, jotka etsivät lyhytaikaista tai pidempää oleskelua Norfolkin pohjoisrannikolla. Thornham on suosittu ympäri vuoden sijaitseva lomakohde, joka tunnetaan hiekkarannastaan, ihastuttavista paikallisista kävelyretkeistään, pienestä satamasta ja lähellä olevasta soiden lintuvarannosta. Mökiltä on helppo viiden tai kymmenen minuutin kävelymatka kylän sydämeen, jossa voit valita hienoja ruoka- ja juomapaikkoja, onko kyse vain kahvista ja välipalasta tai jotain huomattavampaa. Venytä jalat hiukan enemmän ja kävele kauniille villille rannalle nauttimaan kauniista meri-ilmasta ja upeista näkymistä tällä kauniilla rannikolla. Se on ehdottomasti ylimääräisen vaivan arvoinen.

Christmas stay 2021

The cottage was extremely warm, clean and modern. Generally well set up with a spacious kitchen, living room diner, just lacking a few kitchen items such as serving dishes and utensils. The beds were comfortable and the showers worked well. The TV was excellent and the furniture was good. The cottage was ideal for 3 couples having three ensuite bedrooms. The owners had provided a Christmas tree and it served us well for our Christmas break. We would certainly recommend it to friends who wished to visit North Norfolk.

We will definitely return!

We would thoroughly recommend staying here. The house is spacious and clean with a lovely modern decor. To have an en suite in all three bedrooms is a real bonus. We enjoyed waking up to the fabulous views from the top floor. There is also electric in the parking area which we weren't expecting so we were able to charge the car. The location is ideal for various coastal walks and also two brilliant dog friendly gastro pubs in walking distance along with a dog friendly deli. We will definitely be back to stay again.

A very nicely presented and comfortable property on the outskirts of Thornham.

This property is very nicely decorated and has a very welcoming feel. We found the sofas and beds to be very comfortable. The bedding was crisp and clean and the towels luxurious. It is well equipped and has everything we could have needed. We enjoyed our stay here very much. If I had to mention a negative it would be that the freezer seemed very noisy at times and that the en-suite on the top floor was quite chilly at times, this was, however, during a stay when the weather was particularly cold. I would happily stay here again.

Immaculate house, very well located.

This house is tastefully decorated with a suitably coastal palette, which gives the compact cottage a bright, airy, modern feel. The location is perfect, with the very useful coast hopper bus stopping opposite the house, and lovely Thornham is a great base. We like a holiday cottage to have good outdoor space, which is limited here - and there were no instructions for using the bi-fold doors, which was a great shame during a week of sunshine. The upstairs bedroom is beautiful but needs a new mattress. But these were small niggles and the house is lovely - we had a wonderful week exploring the Norfolk coastal path in the spring sunshine.

Fabulous cottage in perfect location for pubs restaurant and beaches , very spacious for 5 of us Everything you need in the kitchen Would love a nespresso coffee machine ? Walking distance to chequers , orange tree and thornham deli , no cooking for me Twin bedroom bed blocks the built in wardrobe not sure if it could be re configured A fabulous stay

Fab venue, excellent location, would definitely return but not as a group of 6 again as unfortunately 1 if the single beds in the twin room was imsleepable !! Basically the mattress was so completely cheap & worn out you could feel every single spring so the guest on this room had 3 sleepless nights during our 3 night stay. We reported this asap after 1 night but we were informed although owner was ordering mattress topper it wouldn’t arrive during our stay ! It requires a new mattress not a topper !! Also no pillow protectors I’m any pillows !!

Excellent Accomodation

The cottage was excellent and had all the facilities we required. A couple of minor issues: 1) No toilet roll holders in the toilets 2) No clothes hanging facility in the main bedroom on the second floor.

3 knights Cottage, Thornham Review

We throughly enjoyed our stay at 3 Knights Cottage. The decor is lovely and bright and gives you that coastal feel. I personally was disappointed that there is no hanging space at all in the master bedroom on the 3rd floor. The room is beautiful and the view is amazing but needs hanging space for clothes and a dressing table and mirror. None of the bedrooms have dressing tables or mirrors. The only mirrors are in the bathrooms. As a family of six we thought there was just enough cutlery for each meal, a few extra wouldn't go a miss. Cleanliness was okay, My mother in law wiped the dining room table and it was quite dirty. I know its spider season but there was quite a few cobwebs in the cottage. The toilet seat down stairs doesn't stay up for some reason, which was a little annoying. Overall we were very happy and comfortable with our stay. , Just a few tweaksl and it will be perfect.

Property needs to have a few more basic items , we didn’t have any tea towels and the beds are not comfortable the mattresses need to be replaced and the bedding was of a poor quality. Apart from those basics the property is clean and spacious down stairs. Good locations for a short walk to pubs and thornham deli.

Lovely property and well equipped. However the water temperature for showering was only just acceptable for showering being slightly above tepid. Also lack of mirrors in the bedrooms for drying hair etc. Otherwise we had a lovely break and would not rule out returning.

An excellent well laid out house

Very impressed with the house-very clean and modern.Everything worked very well .Only 3 criticisms: 1 There is no wardrobe in the master bedroom so nowhere to hang clothes. 2 The ladies in my family tell me it is quite annoying that there is no mirror near a plug socket for hair drying .That point is also mentioned by other guests in the guestbook. 3 A bit of an issue with Norfolk Hideaways and their responsiveness to a maintenance issue .They don't seem to pick the phone up ,then deny receiving 2 e mails, then when they get the third they take 24 hours to respond suggesting they will send someone round on our last night-far too late by then I am afraid . The house is about 10 mins walk to the centre of Thornham.I wouldn't bother with the Chequers Inn as they don't seem to want customers ( went in twice and despite the fact only 2 tables were occupied they were too busy to serve a drink) .The Orange Tree is very nice so long as you accept that you will be dining outside .Would highly recommend Erics fish and chips and their click and collect service.

Very comfortable stay. Ideally placed for exploring the surrounding area. Lots of food options locally, but best to book ahead as they get very busy. Eric’s reliable for takeaways. Lots of walking and beaches to explore.

Lovely place to stay

Great location, standard of property and all the equipment in the kitchen was a great surprise. Only thing I would say it would be nice to have some hanging space in the master as nowhere to hang clothes so had to lay it around the room. Also a mirror would be good for drying hair and makeup etc. We loved the property do much we will be staying again.

Excellent property in a lovely village location

What a beautiful part of Norfolk! Thornham village has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The property is well-equipped and furnished to a high standard. There is a private garden patio that catches the sun. The information book provided is a great source for planning your stay and full of very useful information about the area. The bus stop is straight outside the property so there is no need to use your car to get around. Highly recommended!
