This is a lovely little house! It’s only two hours away from Arches Nat’l Park and the Canyonlands, but that whole area is lousy with other national and state parks, so it’s an awesome spot to stay if you’re hoping to explore! The house is cozy and quiet, and very comfortable! My sister and I really enjoyed the fact that it’s quite old-fashioned. It really does feel like somewhere your grandmother might have lived. Much of the furniture is antique, as well as the decor. The appliances and facilities are all modern, though, so it’s very nice. The only complaint my sister and I had throughout our short stay was that the bathroom is quite cramped. It’s not suitable for even one person to be in, really. The room is very thin and long, and the sink juts out in front of the toilet uncomfortably close. The kitchen is quite large, and there’s plenty of family space, though. I expect it would be difficult to stay here with more than three people in your party. We did find that the bathroom was not very clean. There was dust and cobwebs around the sink and the floor seemed to not have been swept. But other than that, the house was very clean! The coil burners on the stove were rickety and tilted, and we could not get a pot to sit straight on them. The house did not have a grater or potato masher, but otherwise the kitchen is fully equipped, and there is a dishwasher! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and will be renting it again, should we ever come back to the area!
