Breakfast was excellent, scrambled eggs cooked to perfection not rubbery, hash browns crispy, bacon not over cooked, bake beans, mushrooms tasty. All this plus continental breakfast and juice, coffee and tea. Staff really friendly and customer focused. Our plane couldn't land in Invercargill so we returned to Auckland and could rebook another flight until two days later. The hotel were so understanding and made a note that we were unable to stay for two nights. Because we booked online we had to go back to Expedia who just call the hotel confirmed that we were not book in yet and within 2 hours we received refund for 2 days. Loved our stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

Breakfast was really yummy, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, hash browns, mushrooms so tasty, cereals, yogurt and fruit fresh - reasonably price. Staff so helpful and rooms clean every day. Highly recommended

The room is small and not very tidy. Heater in the room unable to turn on. One of the light in the room is not working and change the room upon request. However, the other room heater was not working properly.

Pleasantly warm. Walls paper thin. Lights not working properly. Room not made up properly during stay. Faulty fire alarm system meant we were evacuated at 5:45am into the freezing cold weather with no apology etc. from staff. When I checked out I wasn't asked how my stay went. Signs up celebrating hotel's 60 year birthday and maybe needs to retire soon.

Dated and not soundproofed, but clean and comfortable, with friendly staff. Not ideal for a business trip, as “desk” area waa only equipped with a stool rather than a chair. Had a virtual meeting with laptop on top of shoebox, on top of coffee table, so i could sit in one of the lounge chairs. Abysmal internet. Water pressure good!
