The apartment was clean, secure, well furnished, and the views were second to none. We really enjoyed having a home to come back to in the evenings, and the location made it easy to visit the Victorian Market, Leakey's Book Store, etc. We'd love to return someday!

Fabulous location with room to spread out

It was handy to have an apartment stay during our trip. The property has a washer/dryer combo but it was challenging to use. We were delighted to find a large drying rack there! The door to our balcony had a broken lock, but as soon as we realized that and reported it, it was fixed that same day. The location is amazingly convenient to everything a tourist might want in Inverness!

The location was perfect but there were some issues. When we arrived the door to the balcony wouldn’t close (barely opened). The bathroom had a tap that wouldn’t shut off so it dripped all night. They did send maintenance right away and fixed the door. They returned the last day to put in a new tap when we were out. We used the washing machine and the entire floor molding fell off in the kitchen (loud bang). My husband was able to put it back on. The apartment was in need of updating. There is no reception but they were quick to answer and help us with the problems.

We recently spent 6 nights at Highland Apartments by Mansley and loved everything about staying here. The apartment was very clean and spacious, the kitchen was well stocked, the bed was on the firm side but comfortable, and the washer/dryer was much needed for a 3 week trip to Scotland. There was a great fan in the bedroom which kept it very comfortable, along with being able to open the bedroom window and balcony door. There is noise at night from the restaurant/pub below (which is no fault of the hotel), but between being so tired at the end of the day and the hum of the bedroom fan as background noise, it did not bother us as much. There is no front desk on property, but communication was great regarding check in, and there is always someone available in the chat function within the app. We did not find the parking garage as difficult to find as others have, and although it’s small with tight corners, this is not much different than any other parking garage we have used during past trips in the UK/Europe. The location is perfect to walk anywhere, as well as a Tesco being a very short walk across the bridge. We loved Inverness, and if we are fortunate enough to return, we would not stay anywhere else but Highland Apartments by Mansley.

Great place but noisy at night.

The apartment was really nice in every aspect except one. There is a pub with a live band playing until closer to 1am. The windows closed drowns out a lot of it but the bass was pounding loud enough that we were unable to sleep. If the noise wouldn’t bother you, or you will be at the pub, then the place is perfectly located, central to everything with a very comfortable bed and very clean.

Excellent location and a beautiful well equipped appartment. The directions were clear and everything worked. The riverview was outstanding. Parking is an issue but we found a lot in ealking distance. Apparently there is a parking that needs prepayment you can use. They even left us a cute breakfast basket.

The property was spacious and clean and had a wonderful view of the river. It made us consider buying an apartment there honestly. There was a miscommunication at the beginning with the code to get our key because the automated message didn't have all of the details, but thank goodness it was during business hours so somebody came down and helped us. I would definitely go back in a heartbeat.

Apartment was perfect in every way. Wish we had a longer stay. The property was very walkable to the train station, restaurants, shops and grocery markets. Overlooking the river, we spent as much time as our time allowed on the terrace, soaking up the sun and the beauty of Inverness. Easy access to our Highlands tour meeting spot where we boarded a bus for an all day tour. Our apartment provided us with plenty of space and nice amenities. Property managers were accessible for answering questions, accommodating a couple of special requests and holding our luggage before check- in and after check- out. Recommend and will definitely stay here if we visit Inverness again.

Overall… this is a fantastic option for those traveling to Inverness for work or pleasure. The location is great and the views of Inverness and the river from the balcony are 5 star. The apartment was modern, clean and nicely appointed. Everything you wanted.. as you wanted it. My only word of caution comes from Johnny Foxes located below the apartments. JFs is a lively joint and closes at 2am and it is probable that the loud music and exuberant clientele might be a disturbance. ….

This apartment was fantastic! We had the river view, and the apartment was very spacious, in an absolutely ideal location in the center of the city along the river, and surrounded by shopping, pubs, and anything else you would need. It is literally steps away from both the castle and the church, although the castle was closed for renovation. Very easy to get in and out of the city. Parking at the location was a little bit confusing as you have to pre-purchase it if you want to use their parking, but we never saw an option to do that, and the place is unmanned, so there was no one to really talk to about it unless you wanted to make the phone calls. There is on street parking available, but you have to watch the rules and regulations for overnight parking. A lot of places don’t allow you to start parking until about 5 o’clock. They left us an absolutely wonderful selection of snacks and drinks, and even milk in the refrigerator, as well as coffee and tea. The place was very clean, except for the living room area, which had not been dusted, so there were crumbs from somebody who had stayed there before us. Not a huge deal, but took away one star for that.
