Great country experience
We spent one week this august at La Ferme du Mestry, my wife, our young son and myself.
This cottage is hidden in a wonderful place surrounded by beautiful woods, cultivated fields, lovely villages and amazing historic places. It’s a very relaxed area where you can enjoy silence the whole day.
Visiting Normandy, their landing beaches, their museums and cemeteries is a touching experience that we strongly recommend.
The astonishing thick stone walls framed a delightful cottage where you really feel at home. A truly home away home. Beside the house you will find the superb swimming pool that you can enjoy even in changing weather
La Ferme du Mestry is fully equipped with everything you need for living. But to enjoy your stay as well: you can find bikes, a ping-pong table, lot of videos and DVDs, video game console, many books as well,..
The rooms, including the kitchen, are nice, comfortable and huge. And tastefully decorated.
The owners, Eric and Régine are helpful and kind. They gave us useful advices and make our stay more comfortable and pleasant.
We really enjoyed these days at La Ferme du Mestry and we highly recommend the property.
Nous avons visité cette jolie ferme au coeur de La Normandie pendant le mois d'août. C'est une belle, charmante et magnifique ancienne maison avec une formidable équipation (cuisine, salles de bains, chambres,...) entourée d'un beau jardin avec une jolie et grande piscine.
Un lieu formidable pour avoir du répos et pour visiter les environs pleins d'histoire (plages du débarquement, Caen, Mont Saint-Michel, etc)
Hacía tiempo que mi mujer, mi hijo y yo mismo queríamos conocer la zona de Normandía. Alojarnos en La Ferme du Mestry durante nuestra visita a esta zona ha sido la mejor elección que podíamos tomar.
La casa es una preciosa y antigua construcción de muros de piedra rodeada de jardines. El acceso a la propiedad obliga a recorrer magníficos bosques y campos cultivados que rodean la casa con su silencio. Su situación es privilegiada para visitar las zonas del desembarco, así como los más interesantes museos y cementerios célebres.
La casa está totalmente equipada, no sólo con lo necesario para el día a día sino también con todo lo deseable para disfrutar de unos días de relax: bicicletas, mesa de ping-pong, discos, DVD's, juegos de ordenador, libros,... Habitaciones y cocina son grandes, confortables y están decoradas con muy buen gusto.
