Everything was good just a little problem and I can be very honest about this. I found a roach in my food. They gave me a full refund, but that doesn’t mean anything. Just wanted everyone to know.

We recently visited Costa Rica for our honeymoon and absolutely loved the country. The people were incredibly warm and welcoming, and the resort itself was beautiful with great amenities. The staff were friendly and attentive, which made our stay enjoyable—at least when we were able to enjoy it. Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed by a serious case of food poisoning. On the very first night of our nine-day stay, I became violently ill after dining at the resort’s Mexican restaurant. I was sick for three days, and on the second day, my wife also fell ill from the food. We were extremely cautious with what we ate afterward, sticking to simple options, but even the breakfast buffet had issues—like butter that was clearly rancid. This was a rough and disappointing way to start what was meant to be a special trip. While we appreciated the resort’s setting and hospitality, food safety is a major concern, and we would urge management to take this seriously to prevent other guests from going through the same experience.

The resort was very nice and clean. Staff was friendly, everything was just perfect. The beach in Jaco was not great but everything else was perfect! Great vacation. Would definitely recommend Crocs to family and friends.

The place is nice and quiet in spite of the casino. The staff was friendly, and the food options were plenty. Easy to walk to the beach. The pool is well maintained.

The property was beautiful and I had a nice time. My major complaints were 1) we came before check in and they told us we could hang at the pool, however, they never gave us our bracelets to prove we were guests so we had security constantly coming to us and watching us. It made me feel uncomfortable. 2) the door to our room wasn’t working and didn’t lock. We didn’t even notice until the second day of our stay. Anybody could have entered our room at any time. On another note, there were 3 people that made our stay great. Gerald was very attentive and was always around to cater to us. William was our bartender and he was so much fun. And Sumbu is a great food and beverage director. I really enjoyed our conversations.
