Gite at the back of the owners' house (access via a slope in the garden). Kitchen-living room-lounge, 2 bedrooms (1 double bed 140 x 190 cm / 2 single beds 90 x 190 cm), bathroom (shower) and separate toilet. Large terrace with outdoor dining area. Private parking. Bicycle storage in the owner's garage. Charming little cottage in Jarrier, in the heart of Maurienne. It combines comfort and large spaces, with a sober and soothing decoration. From the terrace, a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains is revealed, in a peaceful and quiet setting, ideal for a rejuvenating getaway. Typical chalet located 8 km from the slopes of the family resort of Les Bottières, connected to the vast ski area of Les Sybelles, the largest in Maurienne with its 310 km of slopes. The surrounding resorts, such as La Toussuire, Le Corbier and Saint-Sorlin-d'Arves, offer a multitude of outdoor, fun and wellness activities, both summer and winter. This mountain village, in the heart of the Arvan-Villard massif, is renowned for the emblematic Aiguilles d'Arves, its varied hikes, as well as the Étendard glacier which peaks at 3,464 meters, accessible from the Col de la Croix de Fer. A region rich in heritage, 12 km away, is the listed 11th century cathedral of Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne. An ideal destination for hikers and cyclists, who can discover the many legendary Alpine massifs and passes of the valley.
