Ocean Cottage 106 Oceanfront cottage with spectacular views!

Peaceful Weekend 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath cottage is the perfect home away from home. This cottage-style townhome is located in Jekyll Island's newest cottage community, The Cottages at Jekyll Island, and is dressed with ocean views. This home has a master suite on the main floor, along with two guest bedroom ensuites. The first floor is home to an open kitchen, which flows into the beautiful dining and main living area. The fully furnished kitchen is equipped with a standard coffee maker, stainless steel Whirlpool appliances, and a spacious bar top with seating for four. This cottage provides easy access to a single-car garage off of the kitchen. Also off of the kitchen is the living area, equipped with ample seating and an electric fireplace. Finishing off the first floor is a screened-in porch, half bath, and laundry. The second floor houses two guest bedrooms each with a private bathroom and access to the upper balcony. This Cottage comes equipped with a gas grill, beach toys, board games, books, pack-n-play, and a highchair upon request. In addition, guests have access to The Cottages at Jekyll Island's million-dollar amenities, which include Clubhouse, zero-entry pool and fitness, beach deck, beach access, and a community fire pit.

BEACH ACCESS AT THE COTTAGES
Overview: The Cottages beach is about 2,000 feet long, featuring a dune area and seawall.
Access Points: There are three dune crossovers to the sandy area, always accessible for recreation. Main access is near the pool and clubhouse.
Tide Information: At high tide, water reaches the seawall, changing every six hours. Check a tide chart to plan your beach time.
Nearby Facilities: Oceanview Beach Park, about 2 miles south past the Holiday Inn, offers all-day ocean access. Explore all Jekyll Island beaches on their website.
Important Note: Storms may affect beach crossover access, and we cannot guarantee beach access at all times.

The condo is very nice and there are great ocean views from all interior rooms. We loved that all the bedrooms had their own bathrooms. Overall a wonderful vacation.

We loved our time at the cottage. Jekyll is one of our favorite places and this property helped make it even more special. Only wish we had was the pool was heated, but we were able to spend time on the beach and getting in the ocean in November is a first. The property is clean and has all the amenities and has perfect views of sunrise. An added bonus is how close to Driftwood beach this location is. Go at sunset. One of the best places to spend time and appreciate Gods creation.

Sad beach access

Initially we were excited about our second stay on the island. Upon arrival, we found that the beach was only accessable near low tide due to boulders piled up to form a 4 mule wall along the beach. Stairs were provided at intervals, but 2 of the 3 closest were washed out and unusable.Forget about see any turtles since there was no longer a beach for them. The 3rd day, the garage door wouldn't work. We called maint. Never showed up. Fixed it ourselves. No complimentary anything except 2 paper towel rolls and 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom for 6 people for 5 days. Had to buy coffee and filters. Over all was ok. We'll find a better location next time.

Great place!

This was a great place for 5 adults and a young toddler to spend a vacation! The property was well maintained, very spacious, and is in a perfect location. The complex is so quiet and peaceful. The views of the water are top notch and the beach access can't be beat. My family loved the place!

Amazing property

This location is perfect for all outdoor activities. Miles of beach walking and wildlife viewing. The condominium is spacious. We will definitely stay here again. The only issue we had was upon our arrival kitchen utensils were dirty as well as the blanket on our bed. But this. Is oversight on the cleaning company not the owner. Otherwise a perfect vacation.

Great way to explore jekyll island Very nice townhouse with ocean views Beach is much wider in other parts of island At his location beach is not very usable as unfer water at high tide and not too nice at low tide. Other than that its a really awesome place to base from to explore all jekyll has to offer. Very close to driftwood beach ln bikes. Pool and gym at club is nice also. Property management team very responsive to needs

Fantastic area

Cottage was incredible. Plenty of room for everyone, the finishes were very well done and the location can't be beat. Very quiet and relaxing area and the water is just steps away. Enjoyed seeing dolphins swim by almost every morning, and strolling on the beach in the afternoons. The whole island is so fun to visit, and of course the food is delicious. Will definitely be back and recommend to everyone.

Lots of room, loved the porch, the view. Everything perfect except for some deficiencies in the kitchen - no non-stick frypans, too-hot stove burners, no salt, no dishtowels.

Quiet and pleasant

Check in was super easy. Everything was clean and organized. My only complaint is the kitchen wasn't great for cooking (cutting board was disgusting and knives were barely useable). Overall, it was the perfect getaway for our small family and we had room for at least 6 more people!

Perfect home with great views.

We stay at many vacation homes and this one is at the top of our best. Everything was perfect , the home is in great condition ,the beds were super comfortable and the second floor balcony view was fantastic. Great place in the morning to sit with you coffee and watch the sunrise. Would highly recommend this vacation home.

Just beautiful!!

The best location on property! Beautifully decorated and accommodated. It was perfect for a long weekend stay. The corner location makes it very private. The outdoor furniture is comfortable and inviting. We brought our own bikes but bikes could be provided for guest use as an added plus.

The Cottages @ Jekyll

First time staying at The Cottages, but it won't be the last. Loved the view of the ocean, the ease of getting to the beach, the pool, and the cottage itself. We particularly loved the peacefulness of Jekyll compared to St. Simons.

Would definitely stay again.

Clearly a pure rental property, but we would definitely stay again. There is only a beach during low tide, which was most of the day, but I think that should be made more clear in the listing. Otherwise, everything was perfect.
