The Space:
The cabin, though petite, exudes warmth and comfort, inviting you to relax and unwind in the heart of Joshua Tree. The cabin has been completely remodeled with relaxation in mind, with earthy materials that bring in the outdoors. Stone Hill was designed for a romantic couple's retreat or a solo adventurer or artist in mind and is located just 7 minutes from downtown Joshua Tree and 15 minutes from the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park.

-Living Area-
Step into the living area and be captivated by the expansive picture frame window that frames the surrounding desert landscape. As the sun sets, transform this space into your private movie theater with a projector that casts onto the picture frame window's blind as a 83" diagonal movie screen! Enjoy the flickering glow of the Malm fireplace, creating a cozy ambiance for intimate evenings. This inviting space is adorned with wood ceilings, providing a rustic charm that complements the surrounding nature. The kitchen and dining are all open to the living area, and you'll find everything you need in the fully stocked kitchen to create the perfect meal.

-Bedroom & Bathroom-
Retreat to the king-sized bed in the bedroom, complete with oversized bedding and blackout shades for the perfect night's sleep. The bathroom features a luxurious rain shower, surrounded by Zia terracotta and zelliage tile, adding a touch of Southwestern elegance.

-Outdoors-
Step outside, and just off the front porch is a picnic table with string lights overhead, perfect for enjoying dinner outdoors. The back porch faces east, and the loveseat is our favorite place to drink coffee and enjoy the sunrise, and to have breakfast on the bistro set. The sunken soaking tub and hot tub are placed perfectly to take in the view overlooking the vast desert landscape. As night falls, gather around the firepit for a magical evening under Joshua Tree's famous starry night skies. Stone Hill's outdoor spaces are designed for relaxation, connection, and the creation of unforgettable moments.

Guest Access:
The entire house is yours! There is a storage shed and a sealine container onsite that being used for storage for supplies for the rental - both locked to guests.

Stone Hill is situated in North Joshua Tree, just 7 minutes from the shops and restaurants of downtown Joshua Tree. All homes in this area are on acreage, giving guests wide open space and privacy.

A personal vehicle is necessary to get around in this area - rideshare apps are not guaranteed.

Other Things to Note:
-Dogs-
The Golden Hour House welcomes your dogs! Please note that there is a $100 per dog per stay fee, limit of 2 dogs maximum. Please note on your reservation if you are bringing dog(s) and how many, and we will adjust the price accordingly. There is an unauthorized pet fee of $500. Cats and other pets are not allowed.

-Cowboy Tub & Hot Tub Service-
The cowboy tub pool and hot tub are serviced on Mondays & Thursdays, usually between 10:30am-12:00pm. Please note that these are estimated times. Our pool/spa technician works very hard to meet this time frame, but he may arrive slightly earlier or later as his schedule allows. I hope you understand and I appreciate your flexibility.

-Cowboy Tub Availability-
The cowboy tub is drained and unavailable for guest use during winter months (November - February) to prevent the filter from freezing and breaking.

-Guided Yoga, Sound Baths, Meditation, Massages & Personal Chefs-
Please reach out to us if you'd like recommendations for yoga instructors, guided sound baths, guided meditation, massages or personal chefs. Often times vendors are available come directly to the house.

-Trash & Recycling Service-
Friday mornings. The trash company will bring the cans out and back in.

-Cleaning Fee-
100% of the cleaning fee goes directly to our hardworking cleaners.
