Julian Lodge is a terrific, cozy place to stay that’s located right in the heart of downtown Julian. The staff are so unbelievably friendly and nice and make it a point to greet you like a welcomed friend. The location is ideal and walkable to many of the great spots in downtown like Julian Cafe and Romano’s. The staff really make the Lodge such a cutesy Hallmarkesque vibe. Highly recommend!

Check- in was was quick, easy and Jeff at the front desk was friendly, informative & welcoming.The room was roomy, very clean and comfortable. The hotel is located near the heart of all the restaurants and shopping. They have a nice large parking lot which is key because the town is very crowded on weekends and parking can be challenging. As gas lodging goes, I don’t think we could have made a better choice! It was excellent!

always a great stay! this is my go-to hotel when i stay in julian (which is a few times per year). the beds are a little on the firm side, but i prefer that so works for me! centrally located and walking distance to everything! great friendly service, and very cute and spacious clean rooms. can't wait to stay again! do beware that they charge $10 lot parking, except it's totally not needed as there's plenty of street parking.

The AC/Heating unit was extremely dirty. Couldn’t even turn it on because it would’ve just blown a bunch of build up dust and dirt at us. I have asthma so that was a bummer. The toilet had a black rim so I can only assume it wasn’t cleaned before we put stay.
