Perfect Stay

We had a group of 7 friends and this place was absolutely perfect. We all fit comfortably and the pool was an amazing touch. The host was very responsive and checked in frequently. I would highly recommend this property.

Great location

The property was in a great location and a very nice home. Would definitely have given it 5 stars but unfortunately the pool wasn't finished yet. Otherwise we had an amazing time and would definitely stay there again.

Comfortable vacation home for family trip

This house was very comfortable for our family vacation including 3 couples and one toddler. It was the perfect size space for us. The house was clean and as pictured/advertised. The location was nice, about a 10-15 minute walk to the beach, and we had enjoyed using the boogie boards and other beach toys.

Perfect location

This house was just right for three couples. Plenty of room to spread out and lots of space to gather together. Location was central to all activities we had planned. The host, Bruce, was very nice and gave good instructions. The house was well equipped with beach items and the neighborhoods was very nice.

60th Birthday celebration with the kids and grand children

The location of this home is great and it’s a short walk to the beach. The house was comfortable and it will be fun to enjoy the pool when it’s finished. Bruce was a wonderful host answering any and all questions very quickly. Check in was a breeze.

Great location for family reunion

This house is well located just across the street from the Kanaapili resort area and only 10 minutes to Lahaina. It is a great place for a larger group, with two master suites (one of which is a two room suite) and a smaller bedroom. The kitchen is large enough for a group to cook dinners in comfort and there is both a large living room upstairs and a small one downstairs. We spent most of our time on the lanai, marveling at the beautiful view over to Molokai.

Perfect Family Home

What a wonderful home. Everything we needed for our family of 8 (6 adults and 2 children). We all loved the pool and hot tub; grandkids spent hours in there!! Perfect location. We walked to Whaler’s Village; close to Kaanapali and easy drive to Lahaina!! Bruce was easy to get ahold of if we had a question or needed something. Perfect family vacation.

Location! Location! Location!

Charming home! The home was close to everything! There was plenty of room. We could watch whales jumping in the distance. The only thing I would suggest to the home owner is sharper knives. That's the only complaint-We had everything else we needed. Would TOTALLY recommend for a family vaca. Thank you!!

Great Location

We enjoyed our stay. The property is located in a great area. The pool and spa were great. The spa programs took a few minutes to figure out but were worth the effort. We really enjoyed the spacious common rooms upstairs and the screened porch. The basement bedrooms could use a little updating but the beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. We had an issue with the washing machine but were still able to use it with small loads. In all, we thought it had charm and good usable space for our family.

Very spacious

Good for a large group. Spacious with lots of room. Beds were surprisingly comfortable and the property was nice with ac. Fully equipped kitchen. Just make sure you don’t leave food out as there are any problems, they literally swarm within minutes. They don’t bite though. The place has lots of toys and amenities to use

Maui VRBO

We really enjoyed the home we stayed in on Maui. It would have been a 5 star if they had finished the pool and spa in time for our family to use it. It was close to being finished. It was in a nice and quiet neighborhood and had fantastic ocean views. It had lots of furnished upstairs dining and viewing areas which were awesome. Once the pool and spa are ready we will request this VRBO again. Also, it's practically on a beautiful golf course. It was stocked with lots of in door games and out door toys. It was close to Whaler's Village, which was great!

We were a party of 6 adults and two children (6 and 8 years old). We had plenty of space both inside and outside. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the location was good. A few issues arose during our stay. - the hot tub was not on and it took several requests for help. We finally got it running ourselves but it needs repair. - the coffee pot was missing a filter basket insert - the upstairs shower had marble flooring and was dangerously slippery when wet. I told our contact we needed a mat - no response - a powerful rain/wind storm knocked out our power for 24 hours. We lost power around 7:00pm. We had to use cell phone flashlights to search cabinets/ drawers for flashlights. We finally found two with dead batteries and but later found more batteries. I called the MauiLife emergency numbers for help and left a message, never got a call back. - the pool overflowed several times - there was a roof leak into the hall by the upstairs bathroom, we put a pot to catch water

Maui Charm

This house is pure Maui charm. It is an older house, but it is clean, well stocked, close to everything and has a pool. We have 7-people and an 18-month old baby with us. We absolutely loved the place. The owner, Lee, is very responsive if you have any questions or an issue. We did have a plumbing issue and notify the owner. Someone was there within an hour and fixed the issue. The house was a great place to use as our home base for this vacation. We would definitely rent it again!

The location of the house is super convenient and central as we were a few minute drive from Front St, the Kaanapali and Napili Beach Resorts. The house was absolutely spotless and we immediately felt comfortable in the house. Bruce insisted on doing a walk through of the house upon our arrival and it proved instrumental in helping us quickly adjust to this house. We made use of all the items included with the rental from the beach equipment to the BBQ. If we had more time, we might have even played a round of golf. My family had a great time and we'd love to stay here again on our next trip to Maui.

Kaanapali rental

Pros: Comfortable home with panoramic view of Lanai, some ocean and beautiful sunsets. Situated close to Kaanapali resort and Whaler's village. Owner responded promptly to questions and problems. Lots of beach toys for the children. Beds were very comfortable. Cons: advertised swimming pool was being redone and not functional. Owner did reimburse some of rental fee due to said absence. One good beach chair and others were pretty beat up. Cockroaches in ground level living areas.

Great location, nice kitchen and dining area, and nice privacy between Master up and 3 rooms down. BIG BUT, the upstairs cooling is a real problem even with the 3rd window AC installed in the dining room. Old portable fans inoperative and BBQ totally rusted away needs to be sent to the landfill. Would not return until central air was installed.

Great for families looking to be close to resorts

This is a delightfully quirky house just 5 min from Ka'anaplai beach. There is plenty of space (3 bathrooms came in really handy) and we liked eating out on the Lanai. Kitchen had everything we needed and there was plenty of beach toys and snorkel gear there to use. Owner was super responsive, though we had no problems or complaints. There is a 70s vibe to the house that I found charming and while it wasn't a fancy place, it was very clean and we slept like babies. There were 2 queens, 2 twins, and 1 king bed. Plus plenty of couches and TVs in multiple places. We wanted to be close to resort-ville b/c we had family staying there, but we wanted to save $ cooking and have more space than hotel rooms provide. This was the perfect middle ground. Would rent here again and recommend it.

April Stay at Kannapali Vista Home

Five of us shared this home on a recent trip to Maui for a friend's wedding, and we all really enjoyed our stay. If you are planning on staying in the Kaanapali area the location is excellent. Most of the wedding party was staying at the hotel resorts in Kannapali, and we found most of them just a quick 10 to 15 minute walk away. The beach is also only a 10 to 15 minute walk. We really enjoyed the size and the layout of the house. It was clean, and stocked with essentials like extra towels, toiletries, cookware, etc. Bruce was really helpful walking us through the house over the phone when we arrived, and although nothing came up it seemed he'd be ready and willing to help if it did. The home has a wonderful balcony off the living room that points out towards the water that we enjoyed hanging out on quite a bit. Overall we had a great stay; good location, large, clean, with a friendly owner. We couldn't have been happier with our choice of rental.
